Good for Paul, I wasn't confident he'd change to a yes vote.

Wonder what Trump had to give Paul in return for his vote?A sense of humor and a personality?

Trump has the ability most great statesmen have had to develop. He has the ability to be so vauge in his conversations that anyone he talks to walks away thinking Trump agrees with them while Trump just goes ahead and keeps being Trump. I have dealt with people like that.
You call it "great statesmanship".
I call it "being dishonest". It's one of the reasons I consider politicians the lowest form of human life. Whores and drug dealers are more honest and honorable.

90% of the time I think he has a good point. What more can I really ask for?I agree. But that 10% or the time he's an ass, I wonder for what end.

He likes to say no, show he’s broken with the party, let CNN have it’s controversy day, then claim the hero and come around. Seeing a pattern.

Roy Moore will vote to support President Trump by voting YES.
Oh, wait....................
That’s right, Mitch decided it would be better to have a Democrat voting on these close ones instead of a Republican Senator Moore.

Maybe it dawned on him that explaining to the voters why he’d vote against Pompeo when he voted to confirm Kerry for same position was an explanation he just couldn’t come up with down the road.

Still didn’t get out of committee since Senator Isakson wasn’t at the hearing to cast his vote. A tie result is the same as a no vote.

Senator Coons(D)changed his vote to present to allow the nomination to proceed since it would be voted out once all 12 Republicans can make the meeting.

I got to tell you as someone who thought Rand would have made a good VP, I revise my remarks. I am no longer a fan after this stunt. His old man would always vote No on sub bills but when it came to bring the bacon back, he’d vote for it. No more wishy-washy, Senator, get aboard the Trump train or go home....
