Attorney General Jeff Sessions informed the White House that he may resign from his post in the event that President Trump fires Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, according to a new report.
Sessions notified White House counsel Don McGahn of this during a phone call last weekend, sources told the Washington Post.
During the phone call, Sessions sought information about a meeting between Trump and Rosenstein and was relieved to hear that the meeting was primarily pleasant, and mentioned that he would have to weigh resigning if Trump fired Rosenstein, a person familiar with the call told the Post.
Are you genuinely ignorant re the FISA warrant Rosenstein signed? If so, how is such ignorance, at this point, even possible? Rosenstein’s active and crucial participation in the illegal FISA warrant anti-Trump abuse/plot has been confirmed on every conceivable level.

Much of the bad blood with Russia is caused by the Fake & Corrupt Russia Investigation, headed up by the all Democrat loyalists, or people that worked for Obama. Mueller is most conflicted of all (except Rosenstein who signed FISA & Comey letter). No Collusion, so they go crazy!
The last allusion I heard to ‘trump bots,’ was from a Cruz-bot.

Simply, Sessions is recused from all Deep State (Clinton) matters. The dossier, the FISA warrants, the Clinton Foundation, the Clinton emails, and Uranium one.
Sessions served notice far and wide, under oath, over 15 months ago that he was recused. And all of his actions since reflect that.
Why Sessions defenders ignore all that, I'll never know.

The timeline of the sealed indictments,on many federal charges coming down from Huber ‘s work since last November, and the several desperate gambits from the failed deep state effort not “getting” Trump— coincides with sealed indictments being decided by the many Grand Jury’s (who are NOT leaking, btw).

Let’s see... a phone call involving just Jeff Sessions and Don McGahn... and the WaPo knows what was said between the two of them. So... which one of those two was the leaker?

A year ago Trump tweeted “the leaks are absolutely real, but the news is fake”- a statement that the MSM insisted made no sense.
But it did make sense. Trump knew that there were leaked stories that were totally fake because Team Trump had been the very ones inventing the fake stories and then leaking them. All done in order to screw with the press, to shape the daily soap opera and get the MSM chasing yet another pointless story. Newt Gingrich called it releasing the daily cage of rabbits. “It’s better for him to give them a rabbit than for the press to go find their own rabbit” or words to that effect.

Under the Vacancies Reform Act 1998 Trump could move one of his other, already approved by the Senate, Cabinet officers over to AG for at least 210 days, if not longer.
An intractable, obstructionist Senate versus Donald Trump. Bet I know who would win that public relations battle with elections coming up.
The effect of this story is to make Sessions looks horrible. Rosenstein is a pro-Hillary anti-Trump Deep State snake, and Sessions intimates he may not be willing to continue without him.
As Trump would say, bad.
Yes, he’s had so much handed to him, to bring this nation back from he brink, and he has frittered away way to much of Trump’s first term.
