WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Democratic Party filed suit against Russia, President Donald Trump’s campaign and WikiLeaks on Friday, charging that they conspired to disrupt the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign, a court filing showed.
The party alleges in the federal lawsuit in Manhattan that top Trump campaign officials conspired with the Russian government and its military spy agency to hurt Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and tilt the election to Trump by hacking Democratic Party computers, the filing showed.

The Democrats are serious as a heart attack about this suit, so they do not believe it to be a joke.
It merely makes them look hysterical and a little stupid. And if they were not so dangerous, they would be as funny as all get out.
But what was Trump to do - Concede the election preemptively? Hell of a way to run a railroad.
As for the Russians, it was very much in their interests that Herself should have WON the election, so why would they be working against her campaign?
And Wikileaks moves obliquely across the board, like the Bishop in the game of chess, not answering to anything except what appears to be largely their own whim.
The ignorance of the populace, not necessarily the citizens of the U.S., including, but not limited to elected criminals is now beyond description.
Although not exactly a parallel to the 70s and 80s, the status of Russia as known to be then as depicted in the novel by Nelson DeMille, The Charm School, is close enough not to matter. After re-reading it in the last few days, it is certainly informative and educational.
All I can say about this "report" is what the most probable response by Russia to this headline is likely to be :

So, since Mueller and his minions have found no evidence, the Dems go to a sympathetic NY court where things like evidence are relatively inconsequential as compared to political ideology.
DNC seems really determined to convert a potential Blue Wave into a certain Red Surge.
Maybe Trump needs to sue the Democrats for uniting the DOJ, the FBI, the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, Hollywood for trying to throw an election.
