A hairdresser has been jailed for life after deliberately infecting at least five men with HIV.
In the first conviction of its kind in the UK, sadistic Daryll Rowe, 27, was found guilty of unleashing the “cynical campaign” to infect as many men as possible – targeting them through dating apps including Grindr.
The sick plot was in “revenge” after he was diagnosed with the potentially killer disease, with the man today jailed for a minimum of 10 years and 253 days.
Police had alleged that Rowe, who consistently denied having HIV, had refused treatment.
A court previously heard during a seven-week trial that the hairdresser had sent taunting messages to his victims, having met many of them online.
He was last year found guilty of ten charges of deliberately trying to infect men he met on Grindr with HIV between October 2015 and January 2016.

Well, if he has HIV and has refused treatment, 10 years could be a life sentence.
A 12 inch Grindr is a lot different than a footlong hoagie...
Maybe so, but if he survives, he will be able to use his new “skills” when he is out on parole.
The gay scene is unfathomable to straight people. I read an article once about so-called “bug chasers”, gays that seek sex with HIV positive men so they can get it too. Weirdos. An old family friend who came out as gay and moved to California but otherwise remained a normal human being told me that when he first got there he tried to go to the gay parties and they were, well he wouldn’t say. All he would say was there were many things about his “subculture” that he found apalling and refused to take part in. I don’t think I want to know what disturbed him so. I only hope it wasn’t as illegal as it was immoral, and that if it was he did the right thing with the authorities.
A male homosexual flight attendent back in the late 70’s - early 80’s - deliberately spread his disease coast-to-coast for 4-5 years of (deliberate) unprotected homosexual sex on both caosts. He - more than anyone else - took an unknown, local disease and made it an epidemic nationally by getting the transfusion blood contaminated. .

Yall remember when aids was still a fairly new thing? They were telling us that it wasnt a faggot disease, everyone exposed was going to get it? And yet, how often do you hear of a WOMAN with aids? I have heard of ONE who died from aids, Miss Kitty, from Gunsmoke! She got it from her husband who got it from a blood transfusion.
