Well, sometimes they put way TOO much icing on those things! A sugar headache in the making. LOL!
But yes...Un-American. :)
I’m picky about a lot of things. LOL! My fave ice cream is Braums Peppermint. Pumpkin Pie is my 2nd fave.
But those choklit cake glazed donuts. Totally the best!
There was a chain restaurant in
northern Minnesota that served one
of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve
ever had the pleasure of eating.
A full 2 1/2 inches high, almost
5 inches in diameter. Full of
raisins, cinnamon, a pat of melted
butter...OMG....
It gets kinda old, doesn’t it, all this warm-cool-warm-cool? Our hope is we won’t see any more freezing temps until late this year. And no more snow! Did you see it was snowing at DH all day yesterday?
*thud* That would be 2 days of calories, but heavenly! Was it Grandy’s by any chance. Sounds like their cinnamon rolls including the butter. Ours is gone now.
Yep...it’s a daily roller coaster! Must be April!
I’m not too picky about foods. If it tastes good, I’ll eat it. But there are still favorites like Breyer’s chocolate ice cream. Their peach ice cream is mighty good too.
Just about any donut is awesome when it’s cooled off just enough after coming out of the vat to not burn your mouth. Heavenly!
Shoo, it’s been like this for two months! LOL! April’s supposed to be warm but yesterday and Sunday felt like Feb. here. And there was snow!
Maybe we’ll all get a break soon and things will settle down. My guess is we’re ALL ready for that.
I am an apple fritter. That's all anyone needs to know.
Howdy there, ‘Du!
Yep! I be funky!
The weather has been really nuts this past week!
Yesterday was snow /sleet and freezing rain, that
tuned to all rain with strong wind gusts.
Felt like Icy needles!
Today was overcast with sporadic rain showers.
Tomorrow will be nice with highs nearly reaching sixty.
Just wild!
I’m contemplative! (Which is a Glazed Donut for some reason)
Indeed the ups and downs are getting on my last nerve!
I didn’t see it snowing at DH. I looked in a couple of itmes but it just looked cold. How could I have missed THAT! Sheesh!
It’s been nuts down here too. No snow here yesterday but there was snow just a few miles north of us. There were a few flurries here Sunday night.
Today was almost 80 after 32 degrees this morning when I went to bed.
It’s more like a yo-yo than a roller coaster. LOL
Well then...that says a lot! :)
It wasn’t snowing real hard there but it was snowing. It did snow fairly hard late in the afternoon but it didn’t stick.
They only made it to mid 30s up there yesterday. We made it to mid 40s at least.
My last nerve is raw.
I’m going to venture a guess and
say it was a Grandy’s. That was
many moons ago, but the cinnamon
roll was so good, it’s still in
my memories. Grandy’s was a good
restaurant. The one in Albuquerque,
all of the waitresses were over 50,
and good quality food.
It was good food. Their chicken was excellent as were their homemade rolls! With butter of course.
Now I’m hungry! LOL!
I hear ya about that raw nerve! LOL!
I never know what to put on when I go out! Well...rain gear is out, but sweater or tee? Not even sure day to day.
It’s crazy!
I dress in layered clothing so that I can either keep warm,
or start to peel off the layers as the day warms up.
I’m a little quiet tonight.
A good freind of ours died from glioblastoma today.
Today is also my late Poppas birthday, and I miss him so much!
I’m just tired of wearing sweaters or long-sleeve shirts - - and shoes and socks. It’s time for t-shirts and flip-flops! LOL
