Well; I don’t have any thing nice to say, so I won’t say any thing.
Um...you said something.
RIP.
Saw her clearly through binoculars though.
We are all servants of God, whether we know it or not.
I don’t presume knowing her soul. Do you?

The "Kennebunkport souvenir shop" featured in the article (with the political stuff) is the always fun Saxony Imports, 50 Dock Square in downtown Kennebunkport.
We've purchased some *great* anti-Hillary and anti-Obama stuff there for friends over the years!
“She lived a long life but lets not forget she was a New England liberal who supported abortion and same-sex marriage. as did her daughter in law Laura Bush.”
Thank you for stating the truth. I’m so sick and tired of being required to be politically correct.
+1
Nobody requires you to agree with anything, or to be ‘politically correct’. All that some of us on this thread are asking is that you have some respect for the death of a fellow human being - as you would wish that others would have if it were YOUR mother - or YOU.
I have had friends and relatives who believed things/held views that I did NOT. But I would not spit on their graves the way that so many on this thread seem to be doing. I loved them, and their beliefs could not change that, no matter what arguments came up between us.
I’m sure that everyone who has said something judgmental about Mrs. Bush on this thread, has done something themselves that another resents - and I don’t think it matters to God whether we’ve done it on a ‘personal’ or a ‘national’ scale!
And I think we would all like it if, despite our sins, when we die, the people that we have known would forgive us and pray for us on our soul’s journey.
I don’t understand the logic of people on this thread who think that their expressed resentments and indictments are earning them points anywhere but in the realm of ego.
We are all servants of God, whether we know it or not.

Indeed!!

I can only go by what she has publicly professed...regarding the killing of innocent lives (aka abortion).
It is amazing to see so many, here, lining up with the evil one on the stance of abortion.
I pray this is something she reconciled with the Lord, in time. And, per my original post on this thread, I wish her RIP.
Peace and blessings.
That would have been an EPIC picture! :)
I do believe there are things that matter very much to our Savior, like the murdering of innocent lives and those that support this. He is the maker of life. There is good and evil in this world, abortion is evil and the promoting of it is incomprehensible. I feel sorrow for the family that is suffering her loss, but her views on abortion are something that I cannot tolerate. Where is the sorrow for so many lives extinguished prior to one breath taken, yet there is sorrow for those that agree with this heartbreaking period in history.
She’s not in this world anymore, and not under your judgment.
Leave her to God, and fight your fight with the living.
That’s the whole point in bringing up the abortion issue. I am trying to fight the good fight for the all the unborn. I’m not judging anyone. Let the little ones LIVE!
May you find yourself in Jesus’ loving arms.
Yes. Standing for principle is the way to go about things.
If you leave personal vitriol out of it, I believe that God will be on your side and support your efforts.
Thanks.
Amen and God bless you!
RIP Mrs. Bush. You did us proud as First Lady. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
