I’m not too concerned about this. According to DC public school data on graduation rates and academic skills levels, sixteen year olds in DC are about as educated as they’re ever going to be.

Washington, D.C., may let 16-year-olds vote for president. Is that a good idea? Very stupid idea, but MINIMAL impact; I don't think DC has EVER gone to the GOP, so letting juvenile delinquents vote won't make a difference.

At the age of 16, our society already gives young people greater legal responsibility.
And yet they want to raise the age of firearm possession to 21. We can trust their judgement on the nation’s future, but not on things like smoking, drinking, contracts or firearms. Got it.

but 16 year olds don’t pay taxes.While whoever proposed this and each and every supporter of this BS should be literally strung up to the nearest lamp post, I started paying taxes at 14 years of age. I had graduated from Army Boot, half way through my AIT while actively prepping myself for Jump School before my 18th birthday. The yutes of today possess no such qualities, no such initiative.
