Funny how the article doesn't mention this is the same lab that had a bunch of ebola infected monkeys escape a few years ago. There are new escapes every few years so its an ongoing problem right next to the freeway. Funny how it is also not mentioned this is a Level 4 Bio Safety lab.
"In addition to the one level-4 lab — where the Ebola, Lassa and Marburg viruses are studied — Texas Biomed has seven lesser-risk level-3 labs, where serious or potentially lethal diseases such as anthrax, plague and West Nile virus are studied; and more than 60 level-2 labs for diseases of varying severity, including herpes simplex and hepatitis C and B."

The monkeys absolutely are not infected with the zombie virus... probably.

Bring Out Your Dead

So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
