Two days ago I deleted my FB account, permanently. I only used it for a couple months back in 2010. I just recently figured out how to do a permanent delete.
Fourth amendment issues aside, the easiest way to avoid FB sharing your data is to not use FB.

Hate Facebook but it’s whole business model is advertising exposure.....FR has no advertisers and maintains our privacy - because of that we (some of us anyway) pay for the maintenance of and access to the site.
The best privacy is to never get a FB.
