Could not care less, in this context, about criminals. This is about defending their homes and families from THE GOVERNMENT!!!
So, where is the ACLU to protect the citizens from the people they elected? This should be as important a cause as their efforts in Skokie many years ago.

The problem with registration is that these yayhoos know where the registered weapons are.
The article is not clear. Are they saying all guns of any type will be banned from personal use?
Or are they limiting the ban to certain types of guns?
Can’t the Governor or even a Mayor declare overturn this law if they so chose to do it?

Deerfield Mayor Harriet Rosenthal implied the students from the local high school helped sway her decision to bring about the ordinance. “Enough is enough,” Rosenthal said adding, “Those students are so articulate just like our students. There is no place here for assault weapons.”
The sheriff and police chief should tell the Mayor that they took an oath to defend the constitution.
If she and her liberal city council wants to seize legal guns, they can do it by themselves.
How do they know how many, if any, “assault weapons” the fine residents of this communist $h!thole posses?

Interesting description. Google has the definition of surrender as ‘cease resistance to an enemy or opponent and submit to their authority.’ It sounds like the correct description of what is happening.
Amazing how these US citizens will become law breakers simply by exercising their rights as US citizens.
