The New York Times put a picture of a little girl sobbing on the White House lawn during its annual Easter Egg Roll on the cover of its Tuesday paper.
The picture of the girl crying at the annual White House holiday event was taken by Times photographer Doug Mills and is accompanied by the caption, "Maybe Hers Wasn't Hard-Boiled."
The full cover can be viewed on the Times website.
Featured on the cover are stories digging into President Trump's EPA chief Scott Pruitt, Trump's relations with Russia, Trump's "hard line" stance on immigrants, and the impact of Trump's tariffs on the stock market, but not a story on the Easter Egg Roll he hosted at the White House.
$3.00 for the daily paper?? For a weekday, not even the Sunday paper???
Haven’t bought a printed newspaper in years, as I’m online so much and get news online. But $3.00 seems way out of line, even adjusted for inflation over the past years.
And they wonder why circulation is declining. Some of it is the internet and people getting news online, but part of it has to be the price.
I was in Chicago in 1980, and both the Tribune and Sun-Times cost 20 cents for the daily paper. Adjusted for inflation, that would be about 65 cents today.
That's the truth and whole story, since 6/16/2015.

Immediately befor the picture was snapped, perhaps a Dhimmicrat, or a NY Slimes ‘journolist’ (but I repeat myself) helpfully explained to the little girl, that President Drumpf, true to his Aryan heritage, trapped and killed the Easter Bunny to make ‘hasenpfeffer’ for his family’s Easter supper. He also helpfully explained that since there was no such thing as Easter, the Dhimmicrats would get rid of all such religious holidays and traditions, like the Bunny and Santa Claus.
The kid is a democrat and just realized she’s having a great time at a republican President’s egg roll.

The reporters who photograph, write and/or produce that garbage would never show remorse even while held down and a bayonet were being slowly pushed into their chests. They are unable to show any conscience or remorse for what they produce.

I’m just guessing, but maybe she’s crying because someone else beat her to an egg she wanted. Of course, that’s Trump’s fault.

It's been a long time since I read newspapers I guess.
When I delivered the Boston Herald back in the 1970s, it was 15 cents for the daily. The Sunday was a whopping 50 cents.
