Boo yah! Notice that the leftists are after Pruitt big time. Now they are whining about some place he rents from some entity or person associated with the “evil” fossil fuel industry. I think all environmental whackos should be banned from using any petroleum products. Let them walk or ride a bike or a horse.
Fixed.
Good.
FIRST, scrap the freaking EPA rules.
NEXT, SCRAP THE UNCONSTITUTIONAL EPA!
Safety before economy.
Heh.
I remember when the NY Times talked about CAFE standards like tide charts ie they would always happen but they would always change - for the worse in the case of CAFE.
It was a Trojan horse for the elimination of private automobiles, so naturally Orwell’s minions were in favor.
Wow. Stand by for Eco-Nazi head detonations.
Good, they needed to be scrapped.
Like everything the Kenyanesian Usurper did, they were bad for America.
Support Free Republic, Folks!
Great! Now if we could just get the incandescent light bulbs back....
Obama, Traitor, Turncoat, America Hater, & Retard...one and the same!!! Satan awaits him...and Ms. Clinton...too!!!
Absolutely wonderful news.
This alone should get President Trump re-elected.

Awesome news.
We bought a new used car on Saturday. I knew about what I wanted and bought the first one I looked at.
Even though we bought a small SUV, one thing I didn’t really care about was fuel economy.
And I pulled a scam on my kid. I wanted to put about $6,000 down but needed to take the money out of an investment account, which would take a couple days.
My kid owes us $20,000 or so for college. He graduates in May and has an incredibly high paying college job in his field. I told him I needed a signed check and we’d tell him the amount later.
Now, he only owes us $14,000.
He sure didn’t expect that when he came home for Resurrection Day. Hah!
Sucks to be one of Obama’s goons.
When the rules are unrealistic, you get the VW diesel cheating thing. Even in a fascist regime, companies have to figure out a way to stay in business.
What Pruitt is getting back too IMHO is the Kelly Johnson 80/20 Rule employed on the SR-71. The last 20% performance increase is not cost effective. In some ways, I think we blew through that rule of thumb in the mid 90's with Clinton's emission regs.
No one imho is doing cost benefit analysis on any of this.
However I am still bullish that a paradigm changing series of batteries are almost here to kick off a true game changing shift in powetrains and things like quiet, smooth, torque, and low c.g. for go kart like handling will be the focus of elecrtic car purchases once range anxiety and charging times are cured.
Any chance we’ll eventually revert to the good ol’ days of being able to manufacture and use actual muscle cars? Can it ever go that far?
I’m sure the eco fascists are already filing their lawsuits to block this.
