Democrats should hold the border open for Central American migrants until President Donald Trump agrees to a national amnesty for illegals, says Sen. Chuck Schumer’s former top immigration aide.

Trump tweeted Sunday: Border Patrol Agents are not allowed to properly do their job at the Border because of ridiculous liberal (Democrat) laws like Catch & Release. Getting more dangerous. “Caravans” coming. Republicans must go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws NOW. NO MORE DACA DEAL!

Fresco responded via Twitter by saying the courts will use the existing laws to keep the border topen for the migrants, and Democrats will block any upgraded border laws until Trump agrees to “Comprehensive Immigration Reform,” which is a Democratic euphemism for a massive amnesty.

I'm going to be off the Deplorable list if troops aren't used to keep this organized caravan out of the US. Letting them in the country and detained won't do. A rogue judge would free them.

For starters, how about using the troops that aren't legally in Syria?

Trump should say that Mexico should do the humanitarian thing and feed them, provide them with educations, welfare, jobs, healthcare, etc.

Instead of encouraging others to break our laws, their corrupt government needs to do more for the people. People wouldn’t need to come here if Mexico hadn’t been a failed state for generations.

Also, ask Mexico if they’ve done any background checks. Are there any murderers, child molesters, rapists, or other violent offenders among the group?

Pres. Trump should cut to the chase. Stop all remittances to Mexico until the Mexican govt. puts a halt to the illegal migration and the drug trafficking, and oh yeah, pay for the wall.

If they are stopped at the border then no catch and release. This may be why money was not in the omnibus bill for new border patrol agents. Need 100,000 citizens at the border.

We need to seal the border, and we need to release these invaders to their own countries while they await hearings, not in our country.

We hold our own citizens accountable for such crimes. Why are we not making sure these people are being held accountable?

President Trump should take the case to the people. Use irrefutable facts,and set out what to expect if new laws are not enacted and all of Mexico and Central America send their people problems to the USA. A full court press is necessary. All conservative state and federal politicians need to sound off loud and clear, and back up the President. Anti-amnesty leaders need to find some cases to right leaning courts and get some favorable decisions before the Shummer disciples get to court. Flood the courts with anti-amnesty and pro- border protection cases. Stand tall like a Mississippi pine, as a friend of mine used to say.
