Right-wing commentator Laura Ingraham has taken a week off as host of her Fox News television show after more than a dozen companies said they will pull advertisements from her program.
Among the latest corporations to cut ties with Ingraham were Liberty Mutual, which confirmed to CNBC that it doesn't plans to run anymore ads on her show, and Bayer, which made its announcement on social media.

Pet food company Nutrish was the first to announce it would remove ads from Ingraham's evening news and opinion show, "The Ingraham Angle." Well over a dozen companies, including TripAdvisor, Hulu and Nestle, have followed suit since the social media controversy erupted.
Liberty Mutual told CNBC that CEO David Long addressed Ingraham's comments with employees on Friday, saying, "These comments are inconsistent with our values as a company, especially when it comes to treating others with dignity and respect."

I’m actually looking for a better car insurance rate but Liberty Mutual and Progressive are no go.
David Long of Liberty Mutual needs a wakeup call.
Hogg is a liar. From Hogg’s own mouth he was not at the school when the shooting took place and from his own mouth, he was at the school when he heard the shooting. He’s too dense to keep his stories straight.
Further, it’s confirmed that Hogg is a crisis actor. That would explain why he had two different stories of his whereabouts on the day of the shooting.
Further again, Hogg has a very foul mouth and an immature view of policy.
In short, Hogg needs to be told to sit in the corner. Other students that were directly affected by the Parkland shooting have told Hogg to stand aside and shut up as he does not represent them.
Freepers know all of the above. But why doesn’t David Long know about it? Long should apologize at once to Laura Ingraham explaining that he did not have all the facts before he shot his mouth off. Then he should assure that he will have the facts next time he feels the need to mouth off about tragedies.
Although she's a cute little girl and looks good on TV, she's better as a radio personality.
I lived there from 1975-1976. The Shah was a great ruler but the desire of many to return to their fundamental roots was too compelling and those who opposed it were complacent.
Sounds oddly familiar...
Well that sure looked fairly tame as taunting tweets go. It’s not even close to Trump’s hottest. Hogg himself could have answered with “Thbppt! This isn’t about college anyhow” and pointed out examples of non college successes (e.g. Bill Gates).
But Laura forgot that Hogg is concentrated hate in a bottle. She didn’t have power enough to meet it.
This ought to get the Twitter taunters to recognize what fire they are playing with. Debate issues Nd merits, not people. Trump got some mileage out of it and fine. But keep personal irrelevant attacks out of it.
I thought AT&T was on the list. I hope not.
Wrong, no, of course not.
Enough to get booted off the air? You bet. Fox News is her employer and apparently the people who pay her salary don’t want her on the air.
If you ran a diner and virtually everyone who ordered coffee told you it tasted like crap, what would you do? Keep serving crappy-tasting coffee?
The advertisers have spoken, Fox is just responding to their customers. It is Laura who is to blame for all of this.
Corporate America are among the most political entities there are now.
Conservatives have, of course, traditionally supported business and free-markets, but conservatives should see things clearly and know the dividing line between those who really live in the free-market, and those who don’t. I have seen this phenomena in other countries, particularly socialist ones.
Big business and corporations are most concerned about politics, because of their power and elitism. As Lenin pointed out, they will help the totalitarians up until the day they are executed.
Not only that, they are deceptive in the ads. They claim to be better than other insurance companies that won't pay for 100% of you car when you total it, and companies who don't provide AAA-type service when your car breaks down. But if you listen carefully, those are "extra" services that you no doubt have to pay extra for. They'll say "if you have Liberty Mutual with New Car Replacement", or "Liberty Mutual With 24-Hour Roadside Assistance", etc in order to get the benefits. What if you have "regular" Liberty Mutual?
Yep, they think it helps business to be politically correct to a fault. I'd like them to advertise that they hate half of America so I can easily identify the coward companies so as to avoid them.
I hear they are going to replace her with a guy named Bill O’Reilly?
Even a liar has certain facts true about him, and his lies don’t change that.
Hogg is dangerous because he’s got concentrated hate in a bottle. He found a way to interview students while shooting were going on. I’d call that a propaganda scoop whatever else he lied about.
“These are the most annoying commericals anyway. No more Liberty Mutual will be an improvement.”
Ever notice how few (if any) white men are featured in these commercials?
Naughty lists are unwieldy and by nature they outlive whatever policy shakeup there may be.
It’s easy to hoot at “cowards” when the only weapon one has personally left is the putdown. This is not only hypocrisy it is suicidally unhelpful.
Do YOU think you could withstand a Hogg hate attack? Why don’t you try it? You might learn a lesson about the gates of hell. This is a church sized challenge.
Well, Pretty soon I might agree with Moochele, I don't like this America I see right now and the hate spewing from the Left.
” dignity and respect” eh?
Backing Hogg who calls republicans, old people, constitutionalists or anyone who speaks out as “ f@vkers”?
Guess who buys most insurance. Old f@ckers
” You named your car Brad. You loved Brad.”
Seriously
And look in the background: Ellis Island as it appeared 100 years ago is still the same, no flooding.
Well-if they dump HER-we dump THEM! :)
