Here's a list of the 14 advertisers who have dropped sponsorship of Laura Ingraham's show. If you buy their products or buy a subscription please consider stopping and/or cancelling: The 14 advertisers that have dropped Ingrahams show since Wednesday include: Office Depot, Liberty Mutual, Jenny Craig, Nutrish, Atlantis Paradise Island, Stitch Fix, Global investment group Principal, Johnson & Johnson, Hulu, Expedia, Nestle, Wayfair, Trip Advisor, and Ruby Tuesday.
Goes both ways.
Fox probably forced her apology. They arent going to support her if she cant bring in advertisers. Its always about the money, which is why the advertisers are targeted. Weve watched it over and over again. Its time to go after the advertisers of a lefty pundit the next time they slander a conservative. Grass roots is the only way it will get done.
I had recently booked a hotel through Trip Advisor and they sent me to their partner Orbitz where the booking was made. I have informed Orbitz I will no longer be using their services because of their partnership with Trip Advisor.
Many ways to let them know their political decisions have consequences.
For every sponsor who pulls out another one will want to jump in. Market share is the name of the game.
I know this will be against the conventional wisdom here.
I have listened to her show over several years. I admit I am not a fan. I will listen in blocks of time dependent upon what else might be on other stations. Her attempts to position herself as the guardian of the hoi polloi while having lived off the teat of the establishment is nauseating. Her heir of superiority and her curt manner to callers forces me to not care that she is losing sponsors.
I have yet to see her TV show.
I am looking forward to our local station getting rid of her for someone that seems to enjoy talking to callers.
Other than that she is ok...
Call and email them, no more business. Flood them with requests for quotes. Waste their Fn time and resources
If they kowtow to a politicized little bastard like Hoggie, then screw them.
When I cancelled Netflix I checked other and wrote: “Susan Rice”.
Great minds...
Wow. Good to know we don’t use any of them. Except maybe Johnson & Johnson. I might use their baby oil once a week to remove my makeup.
Already out on an e mail with instructions to go viral
Dear Advertiser,
I don’t blame you for dropping Laura’s show, if she’s not willing to stand up to the left why shouldn’t you?
Whatever happened to tortious interference with contract?
Time to snap some leftists’ fingers for reaching into other people’s tills.
Dang...I didn’t see that.
Still it feels good to do what little I can to make a statement.
It’s because the corporations are only hearing from the Left with its very strong political activism.
Our side does not know how to fight, we just leave that fighting stuff and activism stuff for “somebody else” while fascism tramples on our lawn.
Hopefully our side is waking up.
I’ve heard different versions of where Hogg was during the shooting.
What is the real truth? Anyone?
This isn't about well-financed losers like David Hogg with media support who are able to put overwhelming pressure on major U.S. corporations to get them to pull their advertising.
This just tells you how worthless a Fox News ad on Laura Ingraham's show really is to these companies.
Think about it:
How many viewers does Fox get for Ingraham's show -- maybe a million? There are more than 320 million people in this country. And even if you only count the 155 million who are actually employed, you're still looking at a very tiny fraction of the U.S. consumer base who even sees these ads.
THIS is the reason why the advertisers were so quick to cut their ties to Ingraham. Even if just 100 soccer moms with stunted misfit kids like David Hogg decided to stop buying their products, they'd probably lose more revenue than they got from these ads anyway.
Interestingly, I think this kind of nonsense is going to make a lot of companies think hard about doing ANY advertising on these cable news shows ... which means cable TV may go back to what it was promised to be when it was first introduced as an alternative to network TV: commercial-free television.
I wouldnt bet the ranch that conservatives dont know how to fight.
I imagine the majority of these corporations are leftist led and have NO PROBLEM following along these Commiecentric lines.
Either that, or they are left enough to bow to pressure of 0, Jarrett and $ora$$.
Bye bye Wayfair. Account deleted.
I think Media Matters unleashed a dozen or two bots that appeared to be hundreds of thousands of angry customers telling them to drop Ingraham.
1. We do it without making noise about it.
2. It doesn't get media coverage.
Look at JC Penney. Look at the conservative "boycott" of Chick-Fil-A, which singlehandedly put that company on the map and made it the most valuable food chain franchise in America.
Just last week there was an article about General Mills and its long, slow revenue decline. They apparently had their lowest sales figures in decades last year. They've been targeted by Christians since they publicly pushed for same-sex "marriage" legislation in Minnesota. This boycott has been going on for five years, with no end in sight.
