Conservative are boiling with anger at Attorney General Jeff Sessions for declining to appoint a second special counsel to investigate alleged abuses at the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ).
In a Thursday letter to senior GOP lawmakers in the House and Senate, Sessions explained that he had appointed John Huber, a U.S. attorney from Utah who was first appointed by former President Obama, to work with DOJs inspector general to determine whether a second special counsel is necessary.
While Sessions says he will accept Hubers recommendation on whether to appoint a second special counsel, the attorney general set a high bar for an independent investigation, saying it would require extraordinary circumstances.
Conservatives are apoplectic, believing there is more than enough evidence of wrongdoing at the FBI and widespread conflicts of interest within the DOJ to justify an outside prosecutor.

Let’s wait and see what shakes out. I don’t actually trust special councils
Try keeping up Skippy. Sessions already appointed an outside prosecutor way back in November. There's no need for a special counsel, who would literally take months to start from scratch while the Swamp gets entrenched deeper.
The swamp remains entrenched at DOJ as long as Rod Rosenstein is DAG.
I continue to be amazed at how Sessions/Rosenschmeckel & Company have boxed in the President. He is captive to his own employees. I sure hope he has a plan to extricate himself in the not too distant future. They all smile at him like they are collectively saying F*ck You, We Gotcha!
Now, go post a photoshop of Sessions as Granny from Beverly Hillbillies for my amusement.
Lincoln said that George McClellan had “the slows.” He of course never met Jeff Sessions.
So you rather want a grand jury in D.C.? The very swamp against Obama people?
So you rather have massive leaks (both sides in D.C. cant keep their mouth shut) that basically tip off potential witnesses and created narratives on what to say?
(Notice that Huber has been working for many months somewhere and not one leak about it came out)
I doubt Mueller even knew about Huber being the one tasked with this which is a good thing
You keep waiting for the "truth" to come out in December, January, March, "April" or "May".
The truth came out in January, and Rod Rosenstein is not "white hat". He signed off on a bogus application.
The corrupt state had a lot of time to prepare contingency plans in case Trump won. With Sessions as their step n fetch-it leprechaun, they found the pot of gold.
Greg Jarrett and Tom Fitton were discussing this on Lou Dobbs tonight. Jarrett wondered how sessions being a senator, ever heard of Huber. The upshot is that rosenslime recommended him and the dummass sessions just went along.
So it looks like rosenslime once again gets to manage the situation while his puppet sessions bends over.
How many dumbass things does Sessions get to do before it’s deemed what it is—enemy action
Patience! All will soon be revealed! (Soon is a relative term.)
Who was re-appointed by Trump.
that reports to rosenberg.
Rosenstein is a white hat.
Trust me on this. All you Sessions bashers are going to eat BBQ crow topped with coleslaw. They don’t call Sessions “The Executioner” for nothing.
