ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – Turkey’s National Security Council headed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday threatened that Ankara would “take action” to drive out Kurdish groups in Syria and Iraq if the United States and Baghdad failed to do so.

The council’s monthly meeting in Ankara, comprised of civilian and military Turkish leadership, lasted four hours.

“Turkey will not hesitate to use initiative if terrorists in Manbij are not driven away,” a statement on Erdogan’s presidential website read, warning the US whose special forces there in the northern Syrian town continue to work with Kurdish-led groups.

..

In sterner tone to Baghdad, Ankara said it expected the Iraqi government “to prevent the activities of the terrorist organization” in Sinjar and Qandil mountains.

..

The Turkish leadership also slammed Greece and the Republic of Cyprus due to a disagreement about exploration and drilling activities in swaths of underwater gas fields in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Erdogan the Islamist dictator of Turkey did not like his treatment by the EU yesterday. They made NO concessions, but did pose with Erdogan in a misleading photo op. So Again, he threatens the world.

And the US military if we don't do what he wants in Syria. Will Turkish soldier fire on US troops in Manbij? No. Will his Jihadi's fire on US troops in Manbij? Possibly. If they do, we will smoke em.

When thousands of Turks lie dead in Syria, and hundreds of millions of dollars in Turkish equipment is turned into scrap metal, I’ll raise a glass.

Big mistake, Erdogan. You should have done this when Mohammed Obamster, your Muslim buddy, was in office.

Can we kick Turkey out of NATO yet? Or just leave ourselves? Also, all US armed forces should be withdraw from Turkey ASAP.

I’d say also cut all US aid to Turkey, but it looks like Trump already quietly did. From what I can find total US aid to Turkey now stands at a whopping $81,000 or so per year.

Funny... “comprised of civilian and military Turkish leadership”: Erd could have been alone LOL!

Actually, in diplomatese, this is a concession to US and allies remaining in Manjib.

Just think what Mattis thinks of this display.

But Mattis is the type to leave it alone until he is confronted and then he will predictably react.

I think Erdogan knows that.

Yes. I heard he cut it.

$81,000 must be some very narrow function.

All know Erdogan must go. Not sure Turks will do it for themselves. Even though they all know how really bad this is. Far too many are totally brainwashed.

All news is 100% Propaganda.

It could happen. My friends have long said Putin is playing with Erdogan. He has his own agenda. Oil, bases and the Strait.

And let the Russians in? Not a good idea.

I don’t know what Erdogan is smoking but he better pass that pipe around or somebody might not think he is spouting BS under the influence. Him and the Turks will end up wandering around the steppes of central Asia again and Sofia Hagia will be a cathedral again if he decides to screw with us. I’m OK with Constantinople being Greek again.

Is Mattis giving the Turds entry onto land where they can be decimated without us having to step foot over their border?
