David Hogg Displeased After School Listens to Him but Bans HIS Rights

In what may be deemed another non-solution from lawmakers on gun-control, some Florida students will now be required to use clear backpacks when on school grounds.

Last week, Broward County public school superintendent Robert Runcie announced that the district planned to implement a “solution” to avoid gun violence and that, after Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School’s spring break ended, students would be required to use clear backpacks if they wanted to be admitted on school grounds.

According to The Blaze, however, student David Hogg has spoken out about the requirement and argued that district officials’ “solution” is rather an infringement on his classmates’ rights.

“It’s unnecessary, it’s embarrassing for a lot of the students and it makes them feel isolated and separated from the rest of American school culture where they’re having essentially their First Amendment rights infringed upon because they can’t freely wear whatever backpack they want regardless of what it is,” Hogg stated.

Hogg also said that his peers shouldn’t have to feel as if they’re going to a type of “prison” when attending school, and cited even more privacy concerns when it came to his female classmates and the feminine products they usually carry along with them.

I don’t “see” what a clear backpack will do. A person can have regular non clear bag inside the clear backpack with whatever. Probably take them 2 seconds longer to pull it out. Pipe bombs don’t take a lot of room and anyone can make them to go off on impact with a hard surface. A bad guy, like Hogg, could make a bunch and toss them into classrooms as he goes down the hall committing mayhem.

Instead of killing 17 though; the death toll could be in the hundreds. Are they going to march to ban plumbing or register to buy plumbing materials and get a background check first? What about all the existing plumbing pipes that can be turned into bombs?

This entire “March for Lives” is BS for another agenda like getting the voting age reduced to 16. I’m thinking it should go up to 26 or 27; the age they are no longer eligible to be on their parent obummercare plan. That’s when they become adults unless they join the US military where they generally learn to be responsible fairly quick.

1270 SAT? On the new scale? That’s pretty poor.

On the old scale that wouldn’t likely get you into the top tier of schools for anything academic.

the beginning of the end wasn’t even when she protested the Federal Occupation of New Orleans (in the aftermath of Katrina), it was when she criticized some Democrats.

Cindy Sheehan was a grieving mother...and opportunists exploited her and froze her there. In the end she completely lost her mind.

1265 used to be fairly good. Now that’s equivalent to about an 850-900 (first you have to convert from 2400-point scale. Then you have to convert for the diminished difficulty.

On the other hand, we don’t actually know if it is true.

“and cited even more privacy concerns when it came to his female classmates and the feminine products they usually carry along with them.”

This kid is stark,raving mad.

Does he think females are too stupid to figure out a solution to that?

I’d like to smack him upside the head.

I imagine there are few enough of them that they could be individually checked on their way in. I think the clear backpacks is a good idea, but nothing would beat law enforcement actually doing their jobs. This tragedy lies at their feet.

He’s got the same look as the killer has.

Time for an “involuntary imprisonment and mental exam”, just to be sure.

The student body knows whose fault the backpack mandate is. The media doesn’t cover the normal kids.

Hogg wasn’t even at the school when the shootings took place. Leftist “fact checkers” are trying to claim that’s a false rumor spread on the internet. I say they don’t want to lose their media agenda darling.

DAVID HOGG: On the day of the shooting, I got my camera and got on my bike and road as fast as I could three miles from my house to the school to get as much video and to get as many interviews as I could because I knew that this could not be another mass shooting.

TV clips of interviews with kids who said there was more than one shooter, and one girl who said she walked out of the building with Cruz while the shooting was happening.

Also, the claim that the kids were told this was going to be a mock drill with some actors shooting blanks.
