George Conway, husband of presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway and onetime candidate to be U.S. solicitor general, has historically not been a very active Twitter user. He joined the site over six years ago and has since sent just a few more than 500 tweets, including retweets. About 200 of those 500 tweets, though, have come this month and of those, nearly half were written with the express purpose of castigating his wifes boss, President Donald Trump.
Something has gotten into Conway, who most famously worked for Paula Jones in her lawsuit against Bill Clinton. The corporate lawyer tweeted not a single thing in 2015 (or if he did, hes since deleted all those messages). Same goes for 2016. In 2017, Conway tweeted 31 times, six of which could be considered critical of President Trump. Those six received quite a bit of press at the time, since his wifes vaguely defined role consists largely of defending the president at all costs.

And no, I don’t do Facebook and Twitter. Never have. That’s too cold.
Yeah, she may need to step down to preserve her marriage, although her husband is a jerk for acting out. Yet Im sure Trump can get along without her now, and she can still work long distance if needed. She has been Trump’s most valuable asset in my opinion, she deserves all our thanks, and blessings... she’ll do well in the future.
Yep. It’s hard to juggle a career and family, let alone a high stress, long hour job like hers.
Yes it is, and I guess their relationship is suffering because of it. The thing I object to is how the husband is going about it, he seems very childish and not adverse to embarrassing his wife at her job. Really sad.
I agree. If that is what he is doing, it appears manipulative and dishonest. But we don’t know what’s going on, just hope for a happy ending.
I do, I really do as I like Kellyanne very much and would hate to see her job cost her the loss of her husband.
:-)

If she loses her husband, the cause wont be her job. The cause will be his internal demons and inability to be supportive of his wife. I can not imagine Kellyanne EVER publicly doing anything which could be construed as being disrespectful of her husbands boss. Hes incapable of extending the same courtesy to her?
bump
It would not surprise me. He’s probably not liking the fact she is never home, others have to care for the kids (not sure how old they are) and there is no time for a marriage. He most likely resents the time she spends with POTUS.
Talleyrand:
Most famous quotation: “They have learned nothing, and forgotten nothing” (of the Bourbons)
This one apropos: “Women sometimes forgive a man who forces the opportunity, but never a man who misses one.”
And my favorite: “Black as the devil, Hot as hell, Pure as an angel, Sweet as love” on the perfect coffee
I was wondering if this is 4D chess: Conway faking out the press and the Dims. Maybe Trump’s going to have a huge announcement soon.
IF true, her husband is an immature jerk, the realization of which is sad for her and her children.
Wish I had some of that.
If it leads to divorce, then he will end up with zero time with his wife. It reminds me of what is reported to be the reason Vanessa is divorcing Don Jr....”he’s never home”. Well, if you divorce him, then he will really never be home!” Sad all around.
Haven’t seen such angst since Jr High.
Male menopause, acting out his midlife crisis against his more famous and successful wife.
You’re right. There may be more problems than just her job. I can’t imagine her embarrassing her husband as she is obviously the only adult in that house.
Kellyanne was the head of Keep the Promise, which was a PAC that did some tough anti-Trump ads.
