Dangerous talk. If “their” quarrel is not “our” problem then you can hardly complain when “our” quarrels don’t become “their” problems, and you quickly find yourself out of allies completely.

If you think that the EU is going to do much of anything that we cannot do ourselves and better, if we focus our finances and attention on gearing up defensively in all aspects, and police our borders so well that we don’t have to police all aspects of our citizens, then we heartily disagree.
No man is an island. No country is either (except geographically). You might think you can survive while ignoring everyone else, but you can’t.
