PRAIRIE DU SAC - Jeff Recob is a gun owner, National Rifle Association member and small businessman who sells ammunition, gear and gun supplies to target shooters.
He also thinks it’s time for his side to give a little in the gun debate.
“As far as I’m concerned, we’d better be ready to give something up now. I’m talking about us as NRA members and the gun-owner community,” said Recob, interviewed at his family business, Recob’s Target Shop, just weeks after a Florida high school massacre set off a new round in the country’s unflagging gun debate.
“Hopefully, the NRA will act like adults and let it happen,” he said

Many businessmen will give up their own and other people's stuff/rights in an attempt to keep the firm afloat... it is a sad fact of human nature that has gone on throughout history.
I can see his businesses “bottom line” suffering in the not too distant future. Sales will/should drop based on his comments.

That is the problem, you nitwit - none of what you are proposing would 'actually work' - the Parkland shooter used 10-round magazines. And that is the modus operandi of the gun grabbers - propose incremental changes that do nothing to move us closer to their gun confiscation nirvana.
You want something that works? Arrest someone for terroristic threats, or for disturbing the peace. Maintain proper discipline at schools. None of that done was done to Cruz. THAT would have worked, and is already the law. The law was disregarded in the name of sloth or political expedience.

These “gun owners” are kind of like the liberal, commieass “democrats” who are always telling their “media” toads that they are “republicans” who “voted for Bush twice”, “served in Iraq in the military and drive a “Honda Prius”. IOW, lying ‘RAT bull**** artists.
Polls are not for gathering opinion so much as the are for manipulating opinion. I continue to be amazed at how fast “we” all came to our senses about gay marriage.
Fudds are always ready to sell their liberty cheap, because “what hunter needs a military weapon?”
I have a neighbor who is an avid hunter who has shotguns and rifles. He thinks we should ban “assault” rifles, since no one really needs them.
To which I replied that the second amendment preserved our right to keep and bear arms, specifically mentions the militia and does not mention hunting, so he should have to give up his hunting weapons, and I should be permitted to keep my militia-style weapons. Shut him right up.
... but the majority of gun owners think those people are full of crap.
Well, if I have to agree with Ol’ Jeff there, I suggest he close his business as his contribution, and quit being a hoe.
