He also thinks it’s time for his side to give a little in the gun debate.
“As far as I’m concerned, we’d better be ready to give something up now. I’m talking about us as NRA members and the gun-owner community,” said Recob, interviewed at his family business, Recob’s Target Shop, just weeks after a Florida high school massacre set off a new round in the country’s unflagging gun debate.

This author and the people like him are the “frogs in the pot of hot water that ever increases hotter”. Give up a little of the 2nd amendment now and a bit more later, and so on, and pretty soon there is no 2nd amendment.
And this is why Trump needs to continue SCOTUS and Federal Judge placements.
Once we have SCOTUS and most of the judiciary any discussions limiting rights will be DOA upon filing.

Create a “movement” bought and paid for by the usual suspects. Check
Use public shaming and the tactics of pc to go all gestapo on your enemies. Check
Use the media to write stories about one or two citizens who have changed their minds about their previously held position and present that as representing ALL citizens. Check
Produce the false polls showing how everyone suddenly supports the taking of their liberty. Check

Well, here’s one Wisconsin gun owner that does NOT agree with giving one damn inch to the gun grabbers. Give them an inch, they want that extra mile and come back asking for more and more. The 2nd Amendment does not need adjusting, PERIOD!
