Stop with the logic! I always laugh when I think about when I lived in Albuquerque. There city mandated water restrictions. Massive eater restrictions. Everyone was shocked when water prices tripled. This because the bonds for water infrastructure still had to be serviced at lower consumption rates. Lol. Same story with electricity infrastructure.

Our water authority did the same thing. Subsidies for low-flow toilets, watering restrictions every year, all that fun stuff.

We are so good at saving water the overflow is a foot thick going over the top of our reservoir dam RIGHT NOW!

I pay more for the water that falls from the sky than an Israeli does for R/O water from the sea.

Our watering restrictions go into effect on May 1st.
