The high-school-student-organized March for Our Lives this weekend has put politicians in an unusual spot: the back seat.
Although students are the driving force behind the D.C. march and sister marches around the country, elected officials and candidates from the District, Maryland and Virginia are finding ways to participate — chartering bus loads of constituents, speaking at pre-march rallies and simply planing to be in the crowd.
D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser (D) is leading a contingent of D.C. students, joined by most members of the D.C. Council and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D). They will meet at Folger Park on Capitol Hill before heading to the rally site on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Our local TV news is going completely nuts over the army of truant pimpleborgs descending on DC. It’s an orgy of school gun violence propaganda of juxtaposed stories strung together to give the impression that “something must be done!” and these kids are just the people we need to curtail my rights.
Get your asses back in the school and befriend those kids you shun, insult, and belittle. Marching, carrying signs and shouting slogans is not TAKING ACTION. Become RESPONSIBLE!

The ONLY people who think the ‘children’ organized this March are Leftists and their Media. Most of the population is much smarter than that! (PS-I actually heard Leslie Marshall, Leftist extraordinaire on FoxNews, call the March the ‘March for Life’. I almost started laughing)
Like what I mentioned this morning, the NRA ought to send gift baskets to these people as their membership has skyrocketed in the last short while. The optics of these politicians and wealthy celebrities using these kids as props is likely a very bad one to many, many voters at the grassroots level.
Most of the democrat lawmakers have huge industrial complexes in their districts that make weapons for the US Government, that it sells to third world countries who arm tattooists that kill thousands of women and children each year. Talk about hypocrites

No, I suspect Donald Trump will march with them, if they’ll take him. He’s screwed his base royally, we got nothing while the “minority” in Congress passed with the aid of the scheming, in the dark meetings with the “majority” $ 500 million for Planned Parenthood, gave zillions to worthless overseas funding, won’t do a damned thing about illegal immigration, and he’s bawling about DACA. Trump went along with all of it; his loud speeches about “the wall” and “the swamp” fall on deaf ears. What a betrayal by this man!

This is happening because our side gets too caught up in bland statistics and press statements rather than getting emotional and seizing the narrative.
Ever see the NRA organize the people who used their guns in self-defense? Protecting their home from armed invaders? Didn't think so. I don't see any marches from gun owners, do you?
Why isn't the NRA touting the women who used their guns to protect themselves from rapists or abusive ex-husbands or boyfriends?
The fact is that pro-2nd Amendment groups and activists aren't on offense.

Seriously? If not for Donald Trump running in the first place, Hillary would be POTUS.
Based on what the GOP Congress handed him, I would think THEY would be Marching. No, ifs, ands or buts.

Tomorrows Headline, Trump Vetoes Military Pay Raises, with a story about a Military Family on Public Assistance in Trumps’ America, while he also wants to cut Public Assistance so he can spend the Money on Golf at his Estate in Florida and paying to shut up Stormy Daniels.
That would only be the first of many shots at the POTUS. The GOP Congress created a no win situation.
We either continue to push ahead or we just concede EVERYTHING to the Democrats, including a weakened Military.
And no, I don’t like the Bill but I don’t run away and hide at the first setback.
Yeah, we'll probably have an Assault Weapons Ban by Memorial Day.
