f you dont know, maybe you should. Her name is Valerie Thompson. She crashed her motorcycle Monday at the World Speed Trials at Lake Gairdner in South Australia. She was going 343 miles per hour at the time. The tail of her vehicle, called BUB Seven Streamliner, became airborne at the four-mile mark of the 12-mile run and her braking parachute deployed.
Thompson was trying to break the land speed record of 376.363 miles per hour. If she had finished the course she would have broken her own record for women of 304.263 miles per hour.
The bike left a mile-long debris trail. Thompson walked away. Afterward she said, Today didnt go as planned. I always said that crashing was not on my bucket list, but I did it. It doesnt feel very good because at 343 miles per hour, standing here talking to you is pretty, truly amazing. Sturgis Hall of Fame
BUB Seven is a red, pointy-nosed two-wheeler made of carbon fiber. It reportedly has a drag coefficient of .08 which is very efficient for a two-wheeled vehicle. It is powered by a turbocharged V4 engine that makes 500 horsepower. Thompson sits in an enclosed cockpit. It was built by Denis Manning. After the crash he said, All the safety stuff we designed worked.
Thompson is older than she looks. She used to be a banker. She started racing motorcycles when she was 37. Her first real bike was a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. She used to ride with men. She scared them. They thought she rode out of control so she took her motorcycle to a track to see what it would do. Her first drag bike was a turbocharged V-Rod. She broke 153 mph on that in All Harley Drag Racing Association competition.

Aussie women have it over euro-weenie gurly men, and most standard men.
Valerie Thompson is a prime example of this fact.

True Blue American, Valerie is.
Valerie Thompson (born April 17, 1967) is an American motorcycle drag and land speed racer. She is a 7-time motorcycle land-speed record holder and charter member of the Mojave Magnum "200 MPH Club." In 2012 she was selected to drive the North American Eagle Project jet car for an attempt to break the 512 mph (824 km/h) land speed record for a woman.

I don’t want a pickle. Just wanna ride my motorcyckle.
0bama receives like a girl.
Evel Knievel is a pussy compared to a gal who crashes at 343 mph. Knievel cowardly pulled his parachute prematurely.
0bama is a sissy!
Well , why did she move to Oz? ( Grin)
Where did it say that she moved?
That's where the "World Speed Trials" competition was.
Now wipe that fool grin off.
I’d be inclined to agree, except that is a grievous insult to girls.
Sorry, she’s not an Aussie and that’s not a motorcycle imo. It’s an engine on two wheels fitted with a capsule. And, btw, she’s nuts.
Compared to 0bama sissies are macho!
If y’all have never seen the movie, “The World’s Fastest Indian,” I highly recommend it. It’s the true story of an old Aussie with a 30’s vintage Indian motorcycle that had always dreamed of going to Bonneville. He makes the trip and sets records but the story of his trip is delicious. Anthony Hopkins is great as the man with a dream that set records.
Compared to 0bama sissies are macho!
That’s very true!
Thanks! I will look for it.
Wow!
Real females, who act naturally, are not icky. Also, a real female, who isn't a diluted, and screwed up leftist, has beauty, strength and brains. She has things to offer the human equation that men cannot. Also, of course, men have things to offer the human equation that women cannot not. Men and women are also meant to be alike in many ways. Men and women should work together beautifully and harmoniously.
Damn. 343 miles an hour is an airplane.
