Do you think Mitch got any concessions from democrats on moving appointments more quickly??
Nope. Because he didn't want any.
It's 2006 all over again and the republicans are in a losing mentality. They PLAN to turn the legislative branch over to the democrats next January. They are INTENTIONALLY working to demoralize us.
We must THWART their plans by ELECTING and RE-ELECTING republicans across the country.
A slew of Boehner boys are retiring. We can create a far more conservative House majority - in direct spite of the moderate-liberal leadership!
Yeah, but you'll get fascist totalitarianism...no thanks.
They are preparing for President impeachment...they believe they have him so have stopped all support of those things we voted him in to do. The question is...what shall we do?
The only way to restore freedom is to completely rebuild from scratch. The globalist are leaving us no choice. We need a complete financial breakdown first. Economic chaos and a meltdown of all markets.
We MUST Cantorize the weasels and elect many more patriots that will side with the citizens and the rule of law.
Alison Grimes was the lesser evil.
Man, that’s even easier than a union job....
I think we have a cure for that. Just sayin'
Recess appointments arent permanent appointments. I forget if theyd expire at the end of this session of Congress this year, or the next session in 2020, but one way or the other theyre only temporary.
Then why do we vote for them?

Huh???
Voting isn't going to change a damned thing. You see, if we got our way, the elites on both the left and the right would lose theirs. They will NOT allow that to happen. Your vote for a Republican means nothing. They have proven this over and over and over again.
But we're supposed to just bend over and take it? Nope. Ain't happening. I'm already staying home later this year. Trump signs this spending bill, I'm staying home in 2020, too. I'm not the only one, either.
Trumps only hope is to have a press conference, explain why this bill is treason and the dhimmicrats wet dream, and why he will not support it, then publicly name every rethuglican who voted for it and then loudly and publicly announce support for their primary challengers, and schedule the mother of all rallies for them. This is his only way out
At least she has just one chin.
Can’t the president veto this bill?
Yes, which will shut down the government. I'd just as soon Congress went ahead with their recess and left it shut down.
The President can and SHOULD veto this monstrosity.
You’re right. While no one wants to lose his seat, the typical pubbie would rather quietly munch on a few scraps in his safe district. Being in the majority means taking the lead, making tough decisions and risking criticism from a rabid media.
This isn’t a free government.
