Brenda Arthur received an unexpected visit on March 8 that, one week later, leaves her feeling more than a little uneasy.

At her door that day was an officer with the West Virginia State Police. He wanted to know about her involvement in a Freedom of Information request regarding a local mosque.

Arthur, who will turn 67 this summer, is leader of the West Virginia chapter of ACT For America, whose mission is to educate Americans about the advancement of Islamic principles in Western societies.

Someone forwarded this to me a few days earlier. I suspect the activity that got official interest was the FOIA for building plans. About ten years ago or longer a group of people In the Clarksburg, WV area were arrested with plans for the FBI finger print center and explosives.

Officer, I am a citizen. I simply followed the established legal process to request some information from my government.

If the county had an elected, pro-2nd amendment constitutional sheriff, that state police Nazi wouldn’t have gotten out of the county without meeting the sheriff and his deputies.
