Well, I never thought of it, but now that they mention it, I am all for banning “high capacity ammunition cartridges.” After all, “we must do SOMETHING,” and this will be as effective as the other liberal ideas. Plus, it doesn’t impinge on the 2nd Amendment in any way that I can imagine.

This resolution, at the next Richmond School Board meeting, will be discussed and it's merits reviewed for the possible submission to Virginia representatives for presentation to their fellow Congressmen and subsequent promulgating into federal law.

If it gets past the school board, I will be surprised. Sounds like a civics class project, written by students hoping to get on CNN.

Let’s quit the argument, agree to ban assault weapons, and in the same bill explicitly define the one characteristic that makes a firearm an assault weapon: that being capable of automatic fire, whereas one trigger pull results in multiple rounds being fired. That should clear up any misunderstandings and get them to shut up.
