The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee said Sunday he feels the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe may be justified, contrary to his party’s messaging in the last two days.
Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said on ABC’s “This Week” said he’s waiting to see more information on McCabe’s dismissal before making an ultimate judgment. Democrats and ex-intelligence officials have roundly criticized the decision by Attorney General Jeff Sessions — seen as imposed by President Trump — to fire McCabe two days before his pension would have vested.
“You know, his firing may be justified,” Schiff said.

IG report.
Any president can fire whomever he pleases at anytime.
There is threats of physical harm to President Trump in top FBI official’ email exchanges.
Pretty tough to get around that.

Further consider - Schiff knows far more than the average member of his party. If there was ANY chance that McCabe would be a solid witness against Trump for Mueller is there ANY doubt he would defend him?
For those who believe the OIG report will be a nothing-burger please consider the events that have occurred with the release of only 5% or less of what it contains. There is a chance that we have learned the more salacious parts of it, but who really believes that given that the oversight committees have only had the opportunity to review approximately 3000 of what has been said to be 1.2 million documents.
For those who say the report should have been released by now - they keep uncovering more and more information relevant to the report and that appears to be the reason for the delay. AG Sessions has asked the IG to look into other stuff so at some point I would hope they release the report as of XXX date and they can add in slip sheets on parts that are not yet finalized and/or issue supplemental reports at a later date.
Mueller must announce all investigations into the Trump campaign have ended and that all his focus is now on BO/HRC/DNC/BRENNAN/COMEY/MCCABE/STRZOK ETC ETC ETC ETC.
otherwise Mueller should resign and take his gang of dem donors with him. enough is enough of this rubbish.

It was obvious that the corrupt state, DOJ, IG were going to try and contain this high treason conspiracy to just McCabe and a few underlings. The dems are in permanent neo-jerk reflex mode and forgot the plot.

We probably should have extensive hearings into all of McCabe’s nefarious behavior to include his handling of the Clinton’s crimes and a serious investigation into where every penny went of the $700K that his wife received from the DNC.
Let’s also look into what McCabe meant when he said: “First we F Flynn. Then we F Trump”.
And we need all the details on his leaking of confidential information to include Comey’s knowledge and acquiescence beforehand.
Lots of stuff we need to look into about how poor Andy is being mistreated. Let’s start with witness testimony this week!
Trump’s Twitter offensive starts to make more sense now that Shiff is acting SCARED TO DEATH of what’s coming and wants to come out with some degree of credibility.
Since when does Schiff ever wait for more information before running his mouth?
After Graham came out wanting hearings, Schiff can appear to be an elder statesman. Especially since he has looked so bad lately with his sad memo and claims that the President told a Russian joke which is evidence of collusion.
But, all of that is a guess. Schiff is not smart, but he is cunning. If your enemy is damaging itself, stay aloof and let it happen.
it just means they are “schiffting” to a different line of attack since the McCabe firing is clearly warranted and was recommended by the OPR, which is the group charged with oversigh of attorneys. Neither Trump nor some crazy Republicans did that - his own peers did.
So now it’ll be something else, whatever looks like it will damage Trump. Expect to see this pattern through the next 7 years.
Schiff is probably also getting rumblings of what is coming in the OIG report, and the two grand juries that AG Sessions has empaneled and the number of sealed indictments that are out. Hopefully his name is on one of them.

First time I’ve seen this Schiff-head come close to getting one right.
The last thing they want is a congressional hearing to march out all the the facts.
