Last time we actually had the called for 12 bills was 2002 and even then they had many continuing resolutions to get that done

Omnibus spending is a result of our sharp divisions of the day and the filibuster rule

we all have to gird up, it isn’t going to be pretty, things are going to get very rough and volatile as they face the STORM, think cornered RATS.

President Trump is our modern day Spartacus.

He is one man doing battle with the combined might of the corrupt empire we call the Deep State.

He stands alone in Washington facing down the most powerful collection of evil, corrupt politicians on the planet.

And that includes the politicians in the judiciary who hide in their robes as they violate their constitutional oaths to carry out their political agenda.

We cannot abandon him every time the evil SOBs in Washington hold their line and win a skirmish.

He is in it to win the war.

If the Trump Presidency fails America will fall permanently into the hands of people like Barack, Obama, Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer,
Nancy Pelosi and the many republicans who campaign as conservatives but govern as democrats.

This is probably the last chance we have to turn the country back from that evil future.

Reading many other threads this morning makes me realize we have a lot of work to do, many on FR ready to throw in the towel.

Here is something that doesn’t immediately come to mind.

Democrats and liberal RINO republicans have been able to turn the country into the liberal mess it is today little by little.
They didn’t do it overnight or in one spending bill.
They got us here through compromise on the part of republicans over a long period of time.

It has been a long battle with republicans on defense and liberals on the attack.
Republicans defending our culture and constitution (sometimes) and liberals trying to change it every time.
And each time republicans compromised, even just a little bit, it was a gain and a win for liberals.

Gradually liberals eroded our culture and the US Constitution the same way running water can gradually erode stone - one compromise at a time.

Well, that is what happened here but this time it was reversed.
This time liberals (and RINOs) were on defense and President Trump was on the attack.

It was liberals defending their liberal/big government culture and President Trump on the attack trying to bring about change.
And this time it is the liberals who made the compromise and President Trump who took the compromise and gained a small win.

We are disappointed that President Trump didn’t win it all in one fell swoop, but realistically that is a pipe dream.
And he will persevere - pushing each time to roll back the liberals, pushing for it all but taking what he can get.

We can’t blame the president for all of the republicans who campaigned as conservatives but sided with the liberals against him.
And he can’t remove them from office either.
That has to be done by us at the ballot box.

In my opinion, Carl should have stayed at least one day longer the first time he was admitted. They gave him laxatives for a colon exam. The second time he was admitted it was for diarrhea and dizziness. They should not have sent him home until they were sure his movements were normal.

Temporarily , the doctor suggested he stop taking one bp med because his bp was a little low.

That's about all the info they gave us.
