We’re probably not going to find anything by “listening” for extraterrestrials

Maybe he created other Earth’s too, how would we know.

But even if planets conducive to life are relatively common, the universe is so damn big that odds of finding one are nil without faster than light travel, which might be impossible.

Only a stupid civilization would try to contact an alien civilization.

It would be like a monkey climbing down from the tree and trying to contact the tigers. Darwin award on a civilization level.

Almost as bad as electing HRC

Factually no one has a clue about how big the universe is. The hubble looks as far and deep as it can and all it sees are endless galaxies. There’s probably life elsewhere. But you arent going to pick up tv signals from a trillion light years away.

Wrong.

If they are as advanced as he imagines, they would transmit using legacy and current tech, which some would be the equivalent of ours.

There is absolutely nothing out there. Zero. The entire discussion in pagan and anti-Christ.There is not a schred of evidence . It reminds me of “ghost” bs. It is Satanic.

No doubt there have been, are, and will be billions and billions of planets with intelligent life separated by billions and billions of miles and billions and billions of light years.

...

You can’t know that unless you know the probability of intelligent life.

The reason we find nothing is because there is nothing . God chose only to create MAN on the Earth. God created the heavens AND THE EARTH. Get it?

No, not really.

It should be a fairly simple equation. Space has “background noise”, like static. Unless a data transmission can be distinguished from it, it can’t be. And energy from a point source is diminished using the inverse square law.

This puts a limit on how far data transmissions can travel through space.

I guess that means we can now cut Puerto Rico loose and let them have that humongous receiving dish out in the jungle. Maybe the kids will skate board on it.

You mean IF they were trying to reach out to other civilizations? Why would they do that? Pretty risky. I don't think many smart civilizations will do that. Of course some might and it's worth a listen in case we get lucky. Of course -- who says radio is THEIR legacy means of communication?

Do you realize how miraculous matter itself is?

Everything from the tiniest subatomic particle to a strand of DNA was inricately designed to make life possible.

Look how a single cell grows into an elephant or hummingbird. The instructions for the entire sequence of ontogeny are built right into the matter that composes that single cell.

God designed and created that matter. The entire universe is alive in ways we can never comprehend.

And you don’t believe that same miraculous matter can’t generate life under the right set of circumstances?

What a stunted imagination you must have.

Adding lots of zeros to create answers is a poor methodology but very common in the Scientwistic mind.
