AP learns McCabe kept memos on Trump; Mueller now has them

WASHINGTON (AP) — Andrew McCabe, the onetime FBI deputy director long scorned by President Donald Trump and just fired by the attorney general, kept personal memos detailing interactions with the president that have been provided to the special counsel’s office and are similar to the notes compiled by dismissed FBI chief James Comey, The Associated Press has learned.

The memos could factor into special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation as his team examines Trump campaign ties to Russia and possible obstruction of justice.

McCabe’s memos include details of his own interactions with the president, according to a person with direct knowledge of the situation who wasn’t authorized to discuss the notes publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity. They also recount different conversations he had with Comey, who kept notes on meetings with Trump that unnerved him.

Though the precise contents are unknown, the memos possibly could help substantiate McCabe’s assertion that he was unfairly maligned by a White House he says had declared “war” on the FBI and Mueller’s investigation.

If he was fired for lying to the FBI leadership then he can't even credibly attest to the accuracy and the origin of the information in those memos.

Comey and McCabe are crooked as hell, so any “notes” or “memos” they wrote to exonerate themselves are worthless, except as possible evidence of their own crimes.

Certainly their pretense that their “witness testimony” is worth more than a cup of warm spit is a false one....

The notes are as trustworthy as a diary . . . kept by a divorcing spouse and “documenting” everything the other person does. Would a corrupt and disgraced FBI agent lie to us on his way out?

Not sure how much these could be worth. Like Rice’s emails to herself, they mean nothing from a partisan. We know McCabe hated Trump so notes to himself are not really valid.

It’s easy to explain. The rules and enforcement of laws are ALWAYS different for Democrats.

Not that any of that will stop heir Mueller from using them against POTUS. There's no such thing as equal treatment anymore. And truth is a thing of the past. Now we're all awash in leftist accusations and hyperbole. As I said in another post, these scum are preparing for their 10/1917.
