Punishing the family would be like Mueller going after Mike Flynn's children to get Flynn to plead guilty.

The Constitution forbids "corruption of blood," meaning we don't directly punish children for the crimes of the parents. That's in the treason clause.

Yep, it is way past time for someone to be made an example of. Take the pension. He was neck deep in the effort to slime Trump and try to get our POTUS impeached. I have no sympathy.

And, while we are at it, perhaps we can also make an example of that walking tree (Comey) for dropping classified info to the NYTs.

Trump’s tweets are part of the show. I hope you really don’t think Trump is incompetent. He is if he keeps an incompetent do nothing AJ. what is happening is he is waving red silks and loosing pigeons with his left hand while his right hand is accomplishing things. Sessions is doing far more quietly without notice by the MSM athan he possibly could if he were going publicly at the problems guns ablazing. I understand that many conservative folk need a picture on the screen of the hero accomplishing big things publicly, but in the present environment that would just draw impeachment.

Trump has voiced his frustration and anger with Sessions many times. He is NOT happy with his performance in any way, and they are NOT on the same page.

"Well, why hasn't he fired him?", you say.

When Trump made noises about firing Sessions last summer, he was threatened with impeachment by members of his own party.
