These weapons fire much faster than typical hunting rifles. They fire rounds that are also deadlier than those fired from a hunting rifle. A Parkland radiologist noted that an AR-15 round may leave an exit wound the size of an orange. These weapons are designed to kill people, not animals. But, with no food, you have no army.
The two are closely related, just as
they are separate.
No army ever goes to war with only hunting as a source for food.
They kill the farmers’ livestock, etc.
I built my own 30-06 when I was in high school. Took an old military 30-06 and tore it apart. Put a Monte Carlo stock and a Weaver 3x9 scope and still have it today. Did all of my own reloading, so ammo was never a problem. Was able to get all of the military brass I wanted. Just had to ream out the primer hole and sometimes trim the brass, but it all worked.
That wasn’t my point, but you are
certainly allowed yours. When the
2ND amendment was drafted, just about
the only way to feed yourself, was to
hunt, as there were not a lot of domestic
food sources (for meat), and certainly
in not enough quantity to feed an army.
Washington’s troops nearly starved to death.
LOL!
what an idiotic sign - there are PLENTY of weapons in Donald Trump’s work place. As for this woman’s work place what does Trump have to do with her private employer banning guns. If she is one of this unteachable students why don’t you ask the SCHOOL BOARD?
I weighed 120 lbs soaking wet when I joined the Army. At that time the M-14 was a little much for me although I did manage to qualify. A year later I was in better shape and when I got orders for Vietnam and had to qualify with the M-16, I shot expert first time out. Quite a difference.
Welcome home!
Thank you.
It’s hard to imagine that fifty years have passed. My wife and I got married two weeks after I came back. We will have a half century in July.
