This guy went from the Great Latino / Tea Party Hope when he was first elected to a squishy non-entity who introduces Daylight Savings Time bills. How the mighty have fallen.

Keep it on DST all year round.

Many countries no longer switch their clocks twice a year.

We should follow suit.

Rubio’s great legislative accomplishment—sending children to school bus stops in pitch darkness.

Fall Back one more time, in 2018, and stay there permanently nationwide.

Wouldn’t you know it?!!
Daylight Saving Time = clock
Clocks have hands, small hands.
A lesson for all.
We should have NEVER attempted to tinker with Old Father Time. Take us back, move us forward. We consistently remain in the same place.

Additionally, New England ought to go onto Atlantic time. It’s kind of silly that Downeast Maine and the UP of Michigan are part of the same time zone.

Oh my gosh finally this guy’s done something worthwhile. I’m all for this as long as it’s a simple bill they don’t add 50 billion dollars worth of spending in the Daylight Saving time bill.

NO! Go with standard time. Then I don’t have to try to sleep with some ahole mowing his lawn at 2200. I’m on shift at 0600.

It was tried under Carter, and it was an EPIC FAIL!

Moms all over were screaming about sending their kids to school in the dark.

Florida lawmakers passed a bill sponsored by state Sen. Greg Steube, R-Sarasota, that asks Congress to permit the state to maintain daylight saving time all year. Congress currently allows states to opt out of daylight saving time and stay in standard time year-round, but not the other way around.

Why on earth would Congress have any say in the matter?

How has Arizona survived all these years without it?

What’s Arizona’s death toll of kids who have to wait for a school bus in the dark?

Since no one can agree on which time, Daylight Savings or not, split the difference.

Pick the 1/2 hour in between as the current time, put everyone on it, make it so.

This is perhaps the only good idea Marco has had since losing the presidential primary.
