The family of slain Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against Fox News, one of the network's reporters, and a wealthy Texas businessman over their roles in the publication of a baseless conspiracy theory about Rich's 2016 death.
The lawsuit, filed in US District Court for the Southern District of New York, seeks compensation for "mental anguish and emotional distress, emotional pain and suffering, and any other physical and mental injuries."

Drudge went to the Dark Side many moons ago. The Liberty Daily is far better, same format. Many other patriot sites are now far better than Drudge. I don’t miss it at all.
On the one hand I recall the father saying that their son told them he had hacked the DNC emails.
But on the other hand, against all evidence to the contrary that this murder was a random mugging where no valuables were taken from the victim and he was shot point blank range with two shots to the back of the head, execution-style, they do not sound like an aggrieved family.
I think the "frightened" and/or "well-paid off" are the most likely scenarios here. Being delusional democRATS would be the least likely one.
They've been told not to discuss or pursue the real reasons for their son's murder. Just like the police, whose higher ups told them not to talk about the case or they would be fired. Too much of what is known doesn't match what the poice say happened.
As in the law, what would a "reasonable man" do? Their behavior is out of sync with their words and actions.
A law suit opens the case up to “discovery “
Which opens up ALL the police records.
Smart move
They have a second son.
I agree with your post—except that what Seth did was just steal the emails from within the building—”hacking” means that the theft was made using the Internet from a remote location. That is why the Deep State loves to use the word “hacking”—it leads you away from the real culprit in many cases—the inside job.
True. Yes, that will be.
nope...pay ‘em off.
DISCOVERY time! These sickos care more about their demented party than justice for their own son.
Discovery should be interesting in this case.
Get the popcorn.
Yeah. Small world, in a world where there are no coincidences.
Wonder if Fox will just settle, to make it go away.
Praying they dont, and they go full bore, on the discovery.
Wouldnt that be something??
Out of the 136 murders, Seth was the only white guy shot to death.
Nothing odd.
You misread. They didn’t actually say that, it was some sensationalist headline.
I’m sorry but I just don’t believe they have anything.
If he had the goods he would be a free man by now and could easily have cut a deal as so many people have rumoured he was trying to. Its been well over a year since the election.
No doubt Seth was murdered, but I’d bet my house the guy has didly squat.
I hope I’m wrong!
Big mistake if they want to keep this covered up.
Not really. Occam’s razor says the guy got shot by some young punk(s) who panicked and ran off without robbing him.

Let’s review the murder.
Occam forgot Seth was downloading DNC emails on a flash drive.
Well, they already wussed out back earlier last year:
