Lamb vs. Saccone Special Election PA18
NY Times ^ | March 13, 2018

A thread to discuss the results.

I feel like Lamb has a lot of momentum, has run as a moderate, and has run a better campaign. I'll predict he'll win tonight (although I'd like to see Saccone win).

NYT does a good job with election results.

Free Republic’s LS still thinks Jeff Sessions is some mastermind too..

And you know something he doesn't?

NY Slimes slow walking in the last two points

They like the page views. The networks like the audience too. If they announce a winner, they know viewers will tune out.

Maybe the GOP is finally wising up and won’t count the absentees in the heavily R area till tomorrow. Seems like when we report early, the Dems seem to find more votes.

Did I just hear that 6000+ absentee ballots that won’t be counted tonight. If that is true then there will be no winner declared tonight.

That would seem right. I'm kinda hoping that those are 6000 military ballots.

CNN is the same network that called for Trump and Pence’s assassination the day before his inauguration so nothing surprises me

The Democrats poured a ton of time, money and passion in this race and they couldn’t decisively beat a mediocre uninspiring GOP establishment candidate.

That says it all.

“Why do the absentee ballots favor the Dems? How would they even know that?”

Because Democrats are very good at creating absentee ballots. Illegals- Dead people- Pets ect...

“Fox is saying that two precincts do not plan to count their vote tonight...”

Yeah, why count votes tonight. Better to go get some sleep. Wow, that’s crazy.

From Triblive.com, Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, 2:03 p.m. - Libertarian lives outside Pennsylvania congressional district he hopes to represent"

Miller announced his long-shot campaign by email this week, saying he would offer an alternative for voters seeking a fiscally conservative, socially liberal candidate aiming to minimize government interference in their private lives.

“I think I have a shot. Even if I don't, I think this race is so close between (Democratic nominee Conor) Lamb and (Republican nominee Rick) Saccone, I could actually be the spoiler between who wins,” Miller said in an interview.

So let me get this straight:

Saccone is down 60 to 38% comes back in leaps and bounds all night, but then all of a sudden the trend stops....?

Cue the ballot stuffing in Allegheny.

Let me guess the dems will “find” a box of uncounted votes in a union members trunk...

What possible reason could those two precincts have for not counting their votes?

“Fox is saying that two precincts do not plan to count their vote tonight, and, in addition, there are 6000 absentee ballot to be counted tomorrow.”

No that was wrong. Only the Absentee votes won’t be counted.

No, AL had less than 1,000 military ballots statewide. They were insufficient to push Judge Moore into the lead.
