I haven’t completely decided yet but leaning toward Ninja.
The wheels of justice grind exceedingly slow.
It’s some kind of theatrical performance - we’re just not sure if Trump or Sessions is the one giving it. :)
PAID OFF ELITE PUPPET
He’s petrified. He doesn’t want to be the one that prosecutes a former administration or the losing candidate of the election.
He said this before his recusal [paraphrased] and he knew he was going to recuse himself before he accepted the position of Attorney General
Sessions as ninja is an appealing idea, but there is nothing close to actual evidence that he is. That’s why the bizarre belief that Swamp-draining will be done by the military; no one believes the DOJ is pursuing such a course.
He treasures civility and regards the duty of a proper conservative to lose very, very politely.
I absolutely loved him as a senator but now..?
he should resign.
it breaks my hear, but yeah.
Based on what I’ve seen regarding actual politicians outside of a Tom Clancy novel, my money is on nincompoop.
IIRC Sessions never offered to resign. He said POTUS must fire him to get rid of him. In this climate, firing Sessions would only increase the left’s insanity. Trump must wait at least until after mid-terms, in hopes he picks up larger majorities in both houses.
You do good either way, if it's a game to distance himself from Trump and make the deep-staters think he is innefectual, it's brilliant. And thus any fun you poke at him helps the scheme.
If he really is a dud then poking fun is wholly justified.
Not only is Sessions a complete dud, we also lost a very safe Republican seat in Alabama. Two strikes.
Nincompoop
Sessions won’t be fired — Trump knows that he is unlikely to get another AG through the current Congress with elections coming up. In the meantime the Justice Department would be run by swamp character Rod Rosenstein. No good alternative from the current situation.
1. Took the job as AG then immediately recused himself
2. Refused to support his replacement in election causing loss of Senate seat
3. Allowed the appointment of a special counsel to investigate the President with no evidence of a crime
4. Refused to appoint a special counsel to investigate the obvious crimes of the democrats and DOJ agents
I think this is a ridiculous article. Sessions is not a ninja nor a nincompoop. He is a defective AG Trump is saddled with. Either the swamp is blackmailing g him or he is part of it. The reason Trump has not fired him is because Graham, McConnell, Ryan et al don’t want it. He works for them.
I think the author of this piece must believe in yetis and Santa Claus.
Red herring or pinkish-purple herring? Trick question! A red herring is a red herring. Contrary what some believe, indicting Hillary is not the highest priority for the country. And stopping Mueller would be like shooting an elephant that might go on a rampage. It’s better to wait for the rampage.
Q says to trust Sessions. Larry says to trust Sessions. However Mueller keeps expanding his Inquisition.
The exchange between sessions and president Trump is unnatural and appears to be a form of communication. If I saw one iota of anything towards arrests knowing that convictions are the goal not just arrests, I would feel more positive. At this point I am beginning to believe there is about a 45% chance that Sessions is blackmailed. 55% chance that he is doing this slowly but surely and we’ll have a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow.
He’s in over his head, easily played, and stubborn as a mule. His selfishness is preventing justice from being done.
He needs to be hammered from all sides until he resigns.
When the IG report comes out, saying justice was obstructed in the Hillary email whitewash, what will he do? Have Rosenstein look into it? Stubbornly refuse to appoint a Special Council? 99% chance he will do exactly that.
Imho, part of the lack of enthusiasm for the midterms, as measured by low pubbie turnout, will be due to Justice Denied. I know it affects my attitude. I’ll definitely vote, but can’t see manning a phone bank. Just frustrated to the point of saying f it.
I’ve been critical of Sessions.....I’ll gladly eat my words if he comes thru. But time is slipping bye
Sometimes things are exactly as they seem. Sessions could just be a nitwit.
While Sessions was a fine Senator, there is absolutely no evidence of any “Ninja” tendencies in his role as AG. He’s proven to be a disaster, and the loss of that seat in AL makes it a double negative.
The takeaway is to NEVER pick sitting legislators for Cabinet positions. There are too many other Roy Moore prototypes out there to lose otherwise “safe” seats.
