Former US Senate candidate Roy Moore is pleading for money to pay for his legal bills as he fights a lawsuit against a woman who says he molested her when she was 14.
Moore said on a campaign Facebook page Thursday that his "resources have been depleted." The link indicated that Moore had raised just $32,000 of a $250,000 fundraising goal...........

He can use his “foundation” money.
people sent him 32,000$??? Wow.
Sue Gloria AllWhore for putting up a forgery as evidence.
Otherwise, bugger off.
Way more Democrats turned out to vote and far less Republicans did than was usual based off the amount that voted in the Primaries. A result that having machines flipping the votes would explain.
Amazing how fast so many people here turned on Roy.
He was a great force for good. The man who defended the 10 Commandments and rejected the Queer fascism we now live with.
Forty years elapses, he was the Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court and the woman says back when I wuz 14, he touched me and I didn’t like it? She said nothing for 4 decades.
It’s a laugh. He should sue her. She’s lying or at least embellishing her memory. His whole history suggested nothing like this.
I hear you.
Too bad.
I have lost all respect for the man.
He’s a lawyer and he’s begging for money?
Use his own.
I’m sure he has enough.
Agreed! He was railroaded!
I’m not a big fan of Roy Moore. But I sure noticed the subtle bias in that AP headline. Pleads? Really?
I don’t recall any AP headline that said “Hillary Clinton pleads for campaign contributions”.
So why didn’t he fight back against Gloria AllWhore and her fake evidence?
A fellow Army officer related a story about Roy Moore in Vietnam.
He was invited to go to a brothel by all the guys, no big deal, right? Right.
Moore rejected it and said “we shouldn’t be here” to his fellow officer. He was a MP officer.
This was Vietnam, a place where anything went when the war was on. Hittin’ the Boom-Boom girl palace was no big deal. But he didn’t go.
That was in ‘69. Fast forward 10 years, and now some woman says he’s Jerry Lee Lewis, looking for a 13 year old bride? Or a sweating pedophile?
Really?
Nah. Maybe socially inept in the 1970s when people in the military were still called Baby Killers and women avoided them. But not what he was called. Half the stories I heard were denied by credible sources. The Washington Post with their $5000 “tell us the story” scam is not credible.
And Leigh Corfman had plenty of people throwing rocks at her version of her life, which featured all sorts of bad stuff both during and after being a teen ager. Woman seems to have a problem with the truth and her finances.
Good question. You tell me.
Maybe he could tell all of us why he rolled over.
Integrity like that is rare and I was suspicious of the claims against him from the first, but something about his reactions to all this doesn’t feel right.
Like the fund raising to pay his legal bills.
I suppose anyone has the right to do that but it just doesn’t sit well with me.
Anyway, I will reserve further judgment and give him the benefit of the doubt.
As far as his political stand, I’m sorry that he never got elected. We could have used someone as conservative as he.
And of course, the hypocrisy of the left is forever on display when they ignored what Bill Clinton did and regaled us with, *What a man does in his personal life has no bearing on how fit he is for public office or his ability to be a good president*.
It made me sick then and doubly so now.
Jesus Himself would not be good enough for them and they’ll give any democrat, liberal scum of the earth a pass in their actions or words.
No kidding. Moore sure talked a big game about suing these people.
There's plenty of people here who knew Roy Moore would be a disaster of a candidate. Just because he's right on the issues doesn't make him electable for a Senate seat. We said as much and then when he won the primary, we kept our mouths shut, not wishing to do more harm than good.
When he predictably lost his race, we're speaking out again hoping that maybe after Sharron Angle, Christine O'Donnell, Todd Akin, Richard Mourdock, and now Roy Moore, Republican primary voters will learn their lesson and STOP putting these LOSERS on the ballot!
We do not advance conservatism by electing Democrats.
Actually, I’m of the opinion that Bannon took himself down.
He probably ought to ask his buddy Bannon
