That’s what she did, make no mistake about it. And it was brilliant. Politically risky, yes. But Schaaf stood up to hate.

Interesting concept. Laws can be followed or ignored based on one's perception of current or past wrongs. My grandparents were discriminated upon arriving in this country so I am free to ignore all traffic laws.

Her constituency has a large percentage of illegals - who are voting illegally for her. Risk would involve holding them accountable for breaking the law.

Because of he stupid stunt, at least 800 dangerous criminals were not able to be arrested. They have now dispersed into the East Bay area for the time being. I suspect Libby will deeply regret this someday when the problem touches her own life.
The FBI and Mueller are too focused on Trump "obstructing" justice with no clear details like the one cited - terrible lack of priorities.

Oh, bull crap! She stood up to get votes from illegals and a bunch of leftists who evidently think it's okay to break the law. Somebody with legal clout needs to grow a pair and throw this law-breaking bitch in jail. If she and all of those like her can thumb their nose at the laws they don't like, how long will it take for people like me to wake up and do the same with the laws I don't like...starting with penalties for not paying taxes?

ICE officials do not hate illegal aliens. Their job is to enforce our immigration laws, which illegal aliens, by definition, have broken.
For a bunch of people who express such unbridled hatred towards those who dare disagree with them, the left in this country certainly bandies about the "standing up to hate" trope an awful lot.
I'm going to start machining and churning out simple firearms because I don't agree with CA's hateful, anticivil rights laws.
