Interesting concept. Laws can be followed or ignored based on one's perception of current or past wrongs. My grandparents were discriminated upon arriving in this country so I am free to ignore all traffic laws.

ICE officials do not hate illegal aliens. Their job is to enforce our immigration laws, which illegal aliens, by definition, have broken.

I could have a reasonable discussion with these people and even respect them if they were consistent.
If they were ok with other mayors and governors ignoring federal laws and regulations on marriage, abortion, health care, unions, EEOC, OSHA, and a lot of other things where a mayor or governor can make similar claims for ignoring federal law or disallowing federal actions.
But when you think “states rights” apply to YOU and not ME like this mayor, we have nothing to talk about.
