I voted for Trump in 16 and I've given to his 2020 campaign. But I had to send them an e-mail that the 2nd Amendment is a Red Line for me. I will not tolerate any Gun Control legislation, we have too much now that infringes on my God Given right! I wrote that if the President persists in supporting new Gun Control Legislation he will irrevocably lose my support for 2020! I will instead support someone else to receive the nomination. Telling that witch from Kalifornia to put in her Gun Ban was beyond the pale and intolerable! The problem in this country is not guns, but that the people refuse to retain the knowledge of God and God is giving them over to a depraved mind (Romans 1:28).

I also contacted the WH. I didn’t deliver any ultimatums though. Just reminded him that we do not like to be told one
thing and have something else done.
Reminded him that RATs will never be bipartisan and that the 2nd amendment is non negotiable.

Red line? OK. Whatever. But Trump is literally the only game in town and while not perfect he is doing quite a lot of good things. Trump is no idealogue and will make deals and do things that tick off the right and the left. He is what he is ... and he is better than Hillary.

Arguably, better to do it know when Trump is President and GOP controls both houses than to let it sit out there and let the Dems use it to get back into control and pass something far worse. I think latest brain research established that we can’t really be trusted with anything too consequential until at least 21. I don’t have a problem with, if you are 18, 19, 20, and you want to use a gun, join the military or law enforcement and learn how to use it properly.
I’d have a much easier time with these 4D chess experts if even ONE of them would present a plausible explaination for how giving away the farm at the start of negotiations works out to give the other side nothing, and still get teachers armed.
Trump is smart, but he can’t turn water into wine.
I think all he said is that that “Witch from Kalifornia” should submit her gun ban AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. In other words, he told her to break the law and the second amendment and see how that works!
