I voted for Trump in 16 and I've given to his 2020 campaign. But I had to send them an e-mail that the 2nd Amendment is a Red Line for me. I will not tolerate any Gun Control legislation, we have too much now that infringes on my God Given right! I wrote that if the President persists in supporting new Gun Control Legislation he will irrevocably lose my support for 2020! I will instead support someone else to receive the nomination. Telling that witch from Kalifornia to put in her Gun Ban was beyond the pale and intolerable! The problem in this country is not guns, but that the people refuse to retain the knowledge of God and God is giving them over to a depraved mind (Romans 1:28).

Every candidate runs on at most three signature issues. If you didn’t know that basic axiom of American politics you don’t know enough to HAVE an opinion. Ex post facto accomplishments mentioned on the trail are NOT signature issues whether you know it, or obviously not.
Because you just publicly declared that you are potentially a danger to yourself and possibly others.
Meanwhile, the guns will be minding their own business, harming no one.
E-mail is the ultimate useless gesture. Taking the time to write, address, and mail a letter shows more seriousness, not that anything will come of it, but it’s a louder voice.

Stop trying to make people believe you know what you are talking about..you don’t have a clue how President Trump ran his campaign. You think it was 3 top issues. You’re very wrong. President Trump ran the most unconventional campaign in history...for you’re information (and so you don’t embarrass yourself again) he flipped the script by running on one and ONLY ONE issue...Make America Great Again..and every sub issue fed into that theme. That was the key..every issue helped support the ONE theme..MAGA.
You should read a few political books on the 2016 campaign. You’ll be surprised by how much you don’t know.

The other benefit to running on MAGA was he didn’t need to pander to any group; as he said over and over “JOBS for everyone..blacks, Latino, Gay, Lesbian, green, purple...he never had to pander or suck up...he just said jobs will help everyone help MAGA. Get it? He nurtured the patriotic soul of every American he could by showing them that he would help them succeed and by default MAGA.
And before you try to “pull rank” on me with any gun crap, you should know that both me and my wife come from military and law enforcement families, both of us are members of the NRA and both of us are concealed carry, she has a Glock 42 and I have a 27 Baby Glock.

You did well to send your letter, IMO. Maybe Trump is playing 4D chess, or maybe he is confused. It can’t hurt to remind him who elected him. A lot of the Freepers going on about “4D chess” used to post “Rove you magnificent bastard” until they figured out Rove and Bush were RINO POS’s.
