There's a precedence of people without top security clearance involved in the processing of things that are top secret in the WH. That doesn't excuse it. I'm appalled that the practice happened and that it has continued. President Trump promised us to "drain the swamp", to set the highest standard.

I don't understand why security clearances aren't completed within the first year. I've never liked the Prince and Princess being on the WH staff. One reason Jeb and hillary were rejected is many voters reject dynasties. It's past time for the Prince and Princess to go back to their NYC castle.

The President can seek advice from anyone he wants to be advised by. It doesn’t matter whether they have clearance or not.

If they abuse information, of course, they should be prosecuted. But if that happens, it would be a first. Hell, Hillary held health stocks SHORT while she worked on ruining their value in her Health Care Task Force efforts. The fact is, though, we have plenty of laws that could be enforced against folks who use what they know via secret clearance for personal gain. But when was a member of Congress or anyone in the executive last prosecuted for insider trading? Can’t think of one right off the top of the head.

I don’t see a dynasty issue here. Pretty sure Trump’s family will have had enough of the limelight by the time the President’s terms are over. In the meantime, though, Hillary and Chelsea are green with envy ...
