Deputies with the Broward Country Sheriff’s Office in Florida were ordered not to go into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School while students were being slaughtered inside by crazed gunman Nikolas Cruz.
Sources say the shocking reason for the decision to not help victims is that the deputies did not have body cameras on them.

I remember when the democrat governor of a state on the flooding Mississippi didn’t call for federal aid so Bush would look bad. Same thing happened when the do-nothing democrat mayor of New Orleans during Katrina. Blame it on the republican president.
This is protecting 3+ officers and they should be outed. Let them explain that they got that ridiculous order, that they stood by the doors listening to the screams and shots, and even then let Cruz walk away from the school after he stopped shooting. Yes, explain all that for supposedly not having body cameras on.
There are conspiracy theorists who believe that extraterrestrials shape-shifting to appear human always get the ears wrong.. Too small! I am NOT making this up.
Well, this puts the lie to deputy Pederson’s excuse that he thought the shooting was taking place outside. If the police were told “NOT TO GO IN” without their body cameras turned on, then they knew the shooter was inside.

My local police have gone to a digital radio system...I can’t remember the reason why, but it required some expensive upgrades to some of their repeating towers...does anyone know if there is a downside to digital radios, especially in heavy traffic?

They were still hiding behind each other while Cruz was eating a quarter pounder at McDonalds. But at least they got to yell and scream at the survivors to march single file with their hands up or get shot.
