The announcements by MetLife and Symantec mean four companies have cut ties with the NRA this week. On Thursday, First National Bank of Omaha and Enterprise Rent-A-Car cut ties with the NRA as well. The First National Bank of Omaha announced that it would no longer offer NRA Visa Cards and Enterprise Rent-A-Car announced it would no longer offer discounts to NRA members.

The shakedown technique is not exactly original. Its been done before. Nice little business youve got here it would be a shame if something were to happen to it.
It work for the mafia and it will work here because they are more than willing to cave-in, its a small price to pay for peace and quiet and profitability.
Call, boycott, make them pay.
Bingo!!
No problem, I want to know who my friends really are. Tell me I’m total crap to my face, I’d rather have that than some jerk pretending to be a friend.
The only call you should make is to tell them where they can stuff their insurance and how you notify your state’s fraud-control people if they try to keep billing you.
The media lays the blame for these school shootings on President Trump, the NRA and American patriots who own weapons. No mention is ever made of the violent games children can get hold of depicting cop killing and mass murder nor do they ever blame Hollywood and TV actors who star in violent gun-blasting and sex movies or the lack of proper parental upbringing of this nation’s children.
Nope, never.
I cancelled my Met Life policy about a month ago. I wish I had waited a month.
the NRA-ILA is the purely political wing of the organization. Donate to them and you will fund their political allies.

Both a major insurance company and security company denying the criminal negligence that facilitated the massacre. How sick is that?
Don’t use MetLife, and ditched Symantec years ago. And will no longer use Enterprise/National.
That’s right. And we can cut ties with Enterprise.
And the corps capitulated because of one jackass?
Well, millions of conservatives should cut ties with these reckless corps.
Lifelock is a dishonest company. I signed up a couple of years ago and told their rep I wanted their cheapest plan at $19 a month, I think. Got my first bill and the slimy beotch had “upgraded” me to a $45 a month plan. I canceled after they refused to cut it back to $19
Symantec also owns "Norton", if I'm not mistaken. Can you recommend a good security software product similar to Norton that is not affiliated with Symantec?
I called the Norton support line (part of Symantec) and cancelled my subscription to Norton 360. I was probably on hold for nearly and hour. They are processing a full $99 refund for the renewal just a few days ago. They are giving me 10 days before the program becomes inactive.
The man on the phone was extremely polite and was gone for several minutes after I explained why I was cancelling.
As someone else pointed out, PCMatic advertises on Fox News. I'll be checking them out.
If five million NRA supporters cancel and avoid Symantec for five years, that would be a revenue hit of about $2.5 BILLION. Ten million cancellations would be $25 Billion. Not bad for a days work. The marketing people are probably going to go nuts. It takes a lot of effort to replace otherwise loyal long-time customers.
Oops. Sorry for the bad arithmetic. Ten million cancellations at $100 for five years would be $5 billion.
