To [Nikolas] Cruz, the campus sun-splashed courtyards were a dark place where he was mocked and ridiculed for his odd behavior, according to interviews with close family friends, students and recently released police and mental health reports.
Someone could have approached a faculty member, a guidance counselor, a teacher and said, This kid gets bullied a lot, someone should do something, said student Manolo Alvarez, 17, who had history class with Cruz. I regret definitely not saying anything.

Other accounts seem to indicate that Cruz was a bully, too.

Yeah, Manny, maybe someone SHOULD’VE STOPPED THE BULLYING! I’m sure you “like, totally” regret not saying anything. It’s always fun until it’s not. You helped destroy this young man AND your school. Don’t come looking for MY guns because you were an asshole.
They likely had something to do with it but it can't be argued that this poor kid didn't have one very screwed up life......And for that, I feel very sorry for him.
“Well, he’s just an excitable boy”
My daughter used to get bullied, because I had bought her (what I thought) was the cutest jacket. It was green with white cuffs and collar. This guy kept calling her the green Santa from Mars. She would come home upset about it. I told her to call the guy out don’t let him get the better of you. So outside of the school property they went at it. My daughter came home with a bloody nose. I don’t know what he went home with, but he never called her the Green Santa from Mars again. :-)
“Gold said that Cruz escaped his misery by playing video games for eight, 12, even 15 hours a day. Gold, who owns a film and video production company, sometimes would play a game or two with them.
It was kill, kill, kill, blow up something, and kill some more, all day, he said.:
Children and teens need to feel included and relevant. It’s more likely outlier children won’t develop a sense of worth in a large school where almost everyone’s a number than in a small one. We need to go back to smaller, neighborhood schools, where everyone has a connection and something they contribute.
His behavior is what got hikm ostracized as it should have.
And at one point he had a girlfriend. Wonder who she is?
“Nazi youth”? Exactly who bullied Cruz and in what manner?
Were you ever bullied in school?
How could she get the inheritance?
So you personally know the students?
Well, she is trying. Even hired a lawyer. LOL

How did he have a screwed-up life? By all accounts his mother did all she could for him and his brother. Who are you blaming for 17 bodies?
How would she be entitled to more than the legal administrator fee?
Not necessarily. I work with a 7 year old kid who is emotionally disturbed. The other kids will still play with him when he's not angry or screaming and yelling, even after they've seen him hit and bite their friends.
They don't bully him, he bullies them. He needs help and the school district is passing the buck to save a buck.
Oh, and this 7 year old has already said he'd like to set the school on fire so he can burn up another student I work with (who is a sweetie).
I am not a lawyer, I just do not know. There is sure a bunch of scurrilous characters in this nightmare.
I can see where this could occur.
It was also my experience that those who bullied in school were also secretly or openly bullied by others, and so they did the same, basically just passing it on down the line.
for all of you that don’t already know, the “anti-bully” movement has nothing to do with bullies or keeping kids safe. It’s an effort by democrats and public figures to force children to accept the normalization of homosexuality.
I had a long, indepth series of discussions with a few of the administrators before I pulled my kid out of the public school and this is what I gleened from their talking points.
It was all about “acceptance” of “differences” , not actually physical and emotional bullying. All the material they had was geared towards protecting kids that “felt and appeared different”.
My child is very thoughtful and intelligent and he didn’t fit in with the social media driven scene. His reluctance to join the snapchat and facebook and other platforms was grounds for isolation and bullying. BUT it was not considered bullying because of his identity (white and normal)
I guess if he was a minority or someone that felt like transitioning, his attackers would be dealt with.
Lol - my daughter was ridiculed at a private Christian school because I made her wear the lovely Nordic knit sweater I had made. She was very embarrassed because she was told how nice it was in front of the whole class....by the teacher! lol - not someone you want complimenting your homemade sweater. She got over it. She also loves the Nordic knit sweaters I have made for my grands...her kids. Not only that, but she saved all of the sweaters I made for her and her brother and the clothes I made as well! How things change. We just have to hang in there long enough to be vindicated lol.
