Comparing the Pennsylvania maps in 2016.
TOP: The old map (drawn in 2011) had 12 Trump seats, 6 HRC seats.
BOTTOM: New map has 10 Trump seats, 8 HRC seats, per @Nate_Cohn

More like Democrat-appointed judges changed the map to benefit Democrats.
It’s the Legislature’s purview, NOT the judicial.
It’ll get thrown out by the appeals court.
The democrats are desperate to take the House back in the midterms, and the three assclown Dems on the PA court are trying to help.
Are you broke because you make a lot of bad bets?
No state should have "authority" over marriages.
No, but here's Jim Clyburn's in South Carolina.
Not true AFAIK, the Legislature came up with replacement, Rats did not like it.
Just a shot in the dark here but guess is that congressional district has one of the highest food stamp usage rates in the nation.
The Pennsylvania SC is elected. This was part of the D's mini-tsunami last year that followed Clinton's defeat.
It should pass, and I'd rather see this happen than President Hillary. At least the fact that the map doesn't look gerrymandered means that some of the districts are competitive and winnable by Rs. The issue in electoral maps for the Ds is that they all tend to live together in cities, so in order to spread their votes around takes some creative gerrymandering.
I don't believe Mitch when he says that the Rs are going to lose seats in November. (Or, at least I hope.)
Except neither Trump nor Clinton will be on the ballot. Each race will have its own dynamics. The Republicans will need to get and work to keep all of there seats. I would not be surprised if the incumbents do better in New areas then the pundits would tell you can win.
Exactly right! I am furious about this.
USSC must be the alternative as there is no rule of law in this state of PA.
Exactly. Courts way overstep their bounds in so many ways. Why legislatures do what courts order them to do is a mystery since such court orders violate separation of powers at minimum.
Left wing hacks decided this...are not going to win this. This is 100% wrong and we need to ensure this is pushed back.
Sad thing the Democrats won't be stupid enough to nominate her again :'(
I agree she'll be a candidate again by 2020 but I think she is more likely to be a candidate for a liver transplant than a candidate for President.
I heard that she graduated from wine to hard liquor since her defeat at the hands of Trump in 2016. She is not in good health, she's prescribed multiple medications and the alcohol isn't helping. Or so I heard. (Source was a Clinton author who was interviewed on WOR. I don't recall the author's name but it will probably come to me as soon as I post this. He was touting his new book.)
Kos crunched numbers, they have PVI but not the exact Pres percentages, district numbers changed around, which was so unnecessary and makes it harder to analyse.

Based on this we figure on losing (new district numbers)
CD 5 for sure (Meehan, who is retiring amid scandal rat PVI now +13)
Maybe CD’s 6 (Costello rat PVI +1.7 was R+2) and 7 (RINO Dent’s open seat, PVI rat +0.5 was R +4 in old district number 15)
While possibly gaining CD 8 (Cartwright GOP PVI almost the same, Trump carried the district)
In addition Fitzpatrick, now in CD 1 has his PVI reduced from 1.6 R to 0.55 R.
Just because they issued a decision doesn’t mean it was properly within their constitutional AUTHORITY.
Judges usurp authority all the time. They must be stopped.
