Good point. Perhaps I'll take it just to keep it safe, since this guy seems to think it will run off on its own and cause mayhem.

It is pretty expensive round, no generic manufacturers yet, just FN. An accurate ballistic bone shattering round used by the Secret Service in pistol platform. Also the choice of Maj. Hassan, the Ft. Hood shooter, The size of the round allows for a 20 round pistol magazine.

The AR57 has a top loading 50 round mag and ejects straight down through the standard magazine opening of the lower, great for lefties with no brass zinging across your face. An emptied out mag can be used to catch the brass if you want.

A lot of people mistakenly reverse the the importance of velocity over caliber.
