Moments ago FISA Court Presiding Judge Rosemary Collyer responded to the requests from the House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes and House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte. (full pdfs below #1 and #2)
There are nuances in each response specific to the statutory roles of each Chairman and the specific requests made by each committee. Reflected in Judge Collyers responses is a need for careful consideration of each unique request.
♦House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes holds primary oversight authority over the aggregate Intelligence Community (IC). Chairman Nunes has requested the transcripts from the FISA Court during the DOJ/FBI Title-1 surveillance application over their target, U.S. person Carter Page.
♦House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte holds primary oversight authority over the Department of Justice -including the FISA court- and has requested the actual FISA Title-1 application as submitted by the DOJ/FBI for surveillance of Carter Page.
Judge Collyer responds to both legislative branch chairman from the position of never previously receiving such requests. There are separation of power challenges, but also an understanding inherent in the response to Chairman Goodlatte of the unique statutory oversight his committee holds.

“All the judges are going to jail, as are a lot of other people”. You’re kidding, right?
>
Many have stated that Chief Justice Roberts has himself been compromised by spies within the deep state. Seems possible...
>
It’s govt (and D.C. we’re talking here). Of *COURSE* they’re F* “compromised”\part-of-the-problem.
MIGHT be able to count on both hands a gaggle worth a damn, but if someone set off a nuke and took it out, very few across the fruited plains would bother to piss on it to put out a fire.

...I know the capacity that is there to make tyranny total in America, and we must see to it that this agency and all agencies that possess this technology operate within the law and under proper supervision so that we never cross over that abyss. That is the abyss from which there is no return Senator Frank Church.
>
But a LITTLE tyranny (like the NSA) is dandy, no?
Guess nobody reminded the tard there has NEVER been a govt ‘slippery slope’ that DIDN’T turn into a Wet-n-Wild water ride: income taxes, SS, MediXYZ, welfare, even down to seatbelts in the car
“Oh, we’ll do XYZ” “It’ll NEVER get above XYZ” “It’s under lock/key”
Jeff is their insurance policy...
Yes.
I take no joy in all of this. I see cracks developing, but...even though I want to see all of these people involved get severely punished, I don’t like seeing it.
But as you said...if good comes from this...then it will be worth it.
Obama / Clinton has something over Roberts ... and Roberts is still succumbing to extortion. -— Yes.
And it’s not the kids, they are past the age where it would make any difference.
HEAR HEAR, MadMax, the Grinning Reaper.
THAT is spot on. Church was scum, and was in bed ideologically with 60's radicals who were just then starting to openly reveal themselves, and who since then beginning in 1993 with Clinton's inauguration, came to power in the top levels of our government and really did their damage.
Good post, thank you.
Because Trey Gowdy has already seen the FISA warrant application that the DOJ has, the committee should follow the judge’s lead and request that DOJ release it.
Then, Gowdy can determine if the DOJ has changed it since he first examined it. According to his previous comments, he knows that the 4 page memo accurately reflects the contention that the contents of the application relied primarily on the dossier.
Then, in my opinion, the DOJ copy of the application should be publicly released. Simultaneously, the committee chair should ask the DOJ to arrest the perps. LOL!
While he’s at it, Nunes should also write a new letter to Collyer, copying CJ Roberts and President Trump, asking her to require the judge who approved the surveillance to appear before the committee to answer questions before he asks the DOJ to arrest him as well.
OK, OK, I know I’m indulging in a bit or two of fantasy. SIGH.
So Many.
Thanks for the link.
I began listening to Dan Bongino’s podcasts from the beginning of the year, and show after show he has been laying it out and naming these people while describing their roles in this.
Those people have, for many weeks now, begun tripping over their lies. With so many people, they can’t keep their stories straight without conflicting with each other.
You’re correct in your identification of how media treats conservative GOP.
But the issue crosses party lines.
It is really, Globalist vs Nationalist thinking.
The MSM are Globalist. Part of the Cabal.
THAT is why they hate Trump so much.
Do you trust the committees to tell the truth?
In the ComDem party, none can be trusted. Proven traitors and liars.
In the GOP, some can, many cannot be trusted. Some of the GOP traitors are on powerful committees.
It is time for daylight disinfectant.
Suppose??
Well yes, they are corrupt.
Time for some major exposure and serious charges.
I don’t think it is a question of will they present the info, it is a question of who it is presented to and is it the original or a falsified record of the original info.
“Trust me. I’m from the government and am here to help you?”
Headshake.
Blackmail does happen in DC.
Wet work also happens.
At this point, it looks very likely.
If so, it might explain the actions of Sessions. There is something very rotten in Denmark. But it smells more like it is coming from DC.
Nurenberg trials followed.
So, your thought is that the application currently on record is not the same as that presented by the FBI/DOJ? That is, the change made after the fact was to clean it up, cover tracks?
This is more proof that Roberts is being blackmailed because he feloniously adopted two children from Ireland where you must be a citizen to adopt. This is easily researched by a quick Google of Roberts’ adoptions.
